My brother is a resident here. I have been getting COVID updates and they had a couple of cases in two facilities right next to each other, two in assisted living, and one in memory care, and so they all had to go under quarantine. The state department came in and did testing every week, but they are now out of quarantine. There are 16 rooms, each resident has their own room, and each room has their own bathroom. They change the linens, they do the laundry, they make the bed, and they clean the room. It is all spotlessly clean and the director is fabulous. When my brother moved in we couldn't get into the building, so the staff had to load everything into his room. They dropped it off in the morning, and when I got there in the afternoon, everything was in its place. They had unpacked everything, they hung pictures on the wall, and it was perfect. We have frequent updates from the staff on how he's doing. He said he's really liking the place. They have a beautiful backyard area with a walking path and a gated area for memory care, but with COVID they're not allowed to go out. During normal times they would take them out on excursions.

My mother is in here. It's a very nice place. It's a place where the residents can have their dignity still because there's a difference between a nursing home and an assisted living facility. It's nice, and it's a small community with 15 people total. They have the time to care for the residents individually. The staff is very patient and caring. Right now, which is Christmastime, they're making stockings, hanging them, making decorations to hang, and they have a small band that comes and plays. She has a little bit of dementia so she doesn't do a lot of activities, but they have Bingo and they're always having activities. It's a very clean facility. Her room is long and it's rectangular shaped, so you can just go straight and then get off your walker, get to your bed, go to your chair, and go to the restroom.

I used them for respite care with my mother. It was a brand-new, very clean facility in a country setting with a hospital nearby. The staff was very nice, knowledgeable, and caring, and they have an activities director. Mom liked the food a lot.

We moved mom here last August. We chose this for its location and also because I like it. Mom likes it too. We like the size of the facility, the whole appearance and décor, and also the people. It is just assisted living. The staff do excellent care and care about the residents. It's not about them and making money, it's about the residents. The facility is very small. It has only 16 beds so it can be personable with the staff. They do encourage activities. They would offer things for the residents to do, but it's pretty much up to them whether if they want to join in and participate or not. As for the food, it is fine.
