My husband is in Hewitt Nursing & Rehabilitation. He seems to be doing pretty well. They provide very good care. I've been very pleased with the way they take care of him. He has a nice, spacious room. He has a roommate and they keep the beds all clean. Every time I've been up there, it's all clean and there is no odor or anything in the whole place. I've only seen him do bingo several times. They do stuff for them and they entertain them and they have people out, different communities, different clubs, or something out. So, I think he seems to like it there. He likes the food. I haven't tasted it, but it looks presentable and he likes it. I've seen their physical therapy and it's nice. The dining room is always clean, The staff is very good. They're always helpful when I ask a question or something. They always take care of it.

The nurses like to talk about residence in the hallway I went, and I found my mom laying in bed with no clothes on no nursing home sheet or cover. Everything was completely wet with pee. she had a pick line in her arm. She had pulled it out for how long I don’t know my mother is a little bit delusional from being in the hospital and the transition to the nursing home and someone has a mental problem Does not mean for the nurses to treat that resident any different I am not happy with this place at all I would not bring my dog here

Please do your research before coming to the center. Rooms are very nice, facilities are clean, and most of the staff is very friendly. However, they are way understaffed, and do not have enough employees on each shift to meet the needs of their patients. Some of the nurses can be rather rude when trying to talk with them. Patients are at the point of being neglected With two hour wait not uncommon anytime you used the call light. Staff spends a lot of time on their cell phones rather than concentrating on their work.

I was sent Senior Care for rehab. I have been there twice and can't imagine I would go anywhere else. The staff took great care of me so I could come home and continue with life. Nursing staff is bar none. They would include my daughter in changes to my care or concerns. The facility is very nice and well maintained. I would refer anyone needing rehab or long term care to them. The Administrator and DON are very involved with the residents. They have an open door policy that allows your voice to be heard.

My mother was placed at this facility because she needed rehab after breaking her hip. They were nice on the phone, but that is as far as it went. Mom had a pair of glasses when she was admitted. Well she came home without them because they lost them and never found them. I was visiting my mother and she needed help in the restroom and there was only 1 person for the entire wing. There were 4 lights on and no one to help this person who was busy helping one patient. We waited over 20 minutes and the aide came in and never came back to finish because she went to another room. When it was time to bring mom home they didn’t have anything ready to go. I had to go to their laundry room to find mothers clothes and never found them. We came home with less than half of what she took there. I was furious that I had to do there job because they were too busy on their phones at the main desk. Don’t let your loved one stay here because they won’t get the care or attention they require or need.

The staff appears friendly and attentive but now that this nightmare is over I feel they listened through one ear and it went out the other. Caregivers were to busy to give good care. My Mom was left in her room, in bed throughout her stay except for a few physical therapy sessions. She entered the facility from the hospital weak and confused and came out of the facility the same way. She ended up back in the hospital with a cut chin from a fall that was played off as a cut to the lip from drinking out of a cup and an infection. Take the time to interview caregivers and keep your loved ones at home. This place is not for your loved ones or anyone.

The administrator was caring and informative to my mother during her stay, we felt like she was being watched over. The facility has several RNS and the overall care is that of a hospital. The DON called us and we were informed of any changes going on with our loved one. We felt lucky to have a facility that did not have Covid and had not had Covid. They must be doing something right and the facility must be clean. Our loved ones will always go to Hewitt as long as the administrator is there with the great nursing staff.

My Mother came to Senior Care for rehab. She loved it everyone was great. When it was time for her to go home she couldn't quit talking about this place. So much that her brother had to have rehab and he also loved it. Thanks to all the workers! You were wonderful.

If you are in your right mind then dont go here. There are some nurses that have NO place being a nurse. I had one nurse get over top of me screaming at me because I asked a question. Granted people have bad days but really!! I had asked to not have that nurse again but the Administration staff is so incompetent that they can't even do that simple request. I have Multiple sclerosis and was ONLY there for physical therapy (which is awesome). There is one nurse that was my saving grace and that was Cindy. If this was the only thing that happened to me there I could overlook it and stayed for the physical therapy but that was just the last straw. I have filed a complaint with the State, ombudsman and the nursing board. Our disabled and elderly deserve to be treated with kindness, compassion and respect. So please think twice about putting your loved or yourself here

My aunt came on a rehab stay, and the staff was great as well as the therapy that she received. She was able to build her strength and go home. The nurses get to know their patients and provide good care.

This facility is beautiful and inviting. My mom is a resident there and has thrived from the care and attention she has received from the nurses and staff. We had a family gathering there and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We were so fortunate to find Senior Care of Hewitt and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to put their elderly loved one.

My husband was at this facility. His care was very unacceptable. Several of the CNA'S were to busy on Social Media or on their phones instead of tending to the residents. 90% of the staff is lazy and don't keep the residents clean or meet their needs. When you report things to the D.O.N. she thinks everything is funny and doesn't do anything about it. I end up having to move my husband because he got pneumonia and they didn't want me to send him to the hospital. When he finally made it to the hospital he was severely dehydrated and had other other complications due to the poor care he was receiving from this facility. If you really care for your loved one please take them elsewhere if not you will regret it.

My mother was at this facility a few months ago. I absolutely loved the "homey" feel this place has to it! It does not feel like a "nursing home". My mother was in the hospital for weeks and when I told her she would have to go to a nursing home for rehab, she was not happy. After touring with the friendly staff, they allowed me to take pictures of the room and facility while l was touring to go back and show mom. Needless to say, she was impressed with how beautiful her accommodations were! Private room, private shower, and some really great food were definite pluses in her book. The staff treated mom like she was family and I will always be grateful for their helpfulness in getting back home.

My mother was at Senior Care of Hewitt. We noticed that she wasn't getting very good care. The first half of her stay was good, but the second half was terrible. They need to keep a real close eye on certain staff members. I know they had some very good staff, but they had one or two that definitely was not. They did have activities. They had people come in for music, and they had dominoes, books, cards, and puzzles. The food seemed to be fine, but to me, it was a little bit more of an institutional type place. It was good food, it was seasoned good, and it wasn't bland, but you could tell they were cooking for many people.

While we did encounter some very sweet and attentive people, we found the majority to be inept and lacking in the ability to multi-task. When we encountered some issues we found the senior staff to be defensive and uncooperative. After bringing several issues to our quality of life care person and the assistant director of nursing, we felt as if we had been black listed. We never saw the director of nursing and never received any apologies for anything we brought to their attention. This included my dad being double medicated. One of our complaints was communication issues with a CNA. We were told repeatedly she spoke perfect English and they could not accommodate us because it was her assigned hall. If we didn't want her in the room then it was our choice to leave dad waiting even longer for someone to respond to his needs. We found it interesting that this aide only worked with a Spanish speaking nurse and all of their conversations in the hall were in Spanish. The aide even had trouble reading the daily menu and never spoke a complete sentence in English. In this line of work, it is imperative to be able to understand the patient and care for their needs.
