My brother moved in and out was spacious and beautful. The sweetie Square footage was great. When we arrived the community manager had several residents paying and she read so polite and brought us a drink and told us it would be a second and to be very patient. I was very happy that she made us feel at home I think her name Kristine her when my brother moved in she called Elmr to come and show us the easiest way to move in. Kristine thank you and I really loved your style of helping us gel at home. Applause for you and thank you.

I have been living in HomeTowne at Garland. It's a nice place, the bedrooms are large, but the price is not affordable to me. I have a two-bedroom, a patio, and a garage. It's like little cottages, and you have a choice of apartments, but at my age, I can't climb stairs. I haven't tried their food, but I liked the fact that they provide food, but you have to purchase it. They have a bingo day, they post the bingo numbers in the mail room, they pick up the trash, they have an exercise room, they have a pool, but due to the pandemic it's not open yet. It's a nice place to walk around the grounds.

My Sister lives in this community and I visit her on a daily basis. She has lived in many places before HomeTowne and she loves her place and so do I! The entire staff makes this place feel like home. It’s always clean and smells good and the staff is so friendly and caring and always goes up and beyond! If I didn’t own my home I would move here. The manager Cindy and her assistant manager are lovely people. Always have a smile on their face that warms your heart! Thank you HomeTowne at Garland!

The apartments are nice and roomy enough but maintenance and pest control is below average. Many people are moving out because of the way management just ignores things especially pest control. It took management over a year to get our powered parking lot gates repaired. I've had four new neighbors in the less than 3 years we've lived there.

Stay away. This facility is not very old but is already run down. The property manager, Cindy, is constantly cutting corners and is rude to the elderly residents. There is one person hired to clean the common areas which also includes the indoor hallways, trash room, etc. This one person also cleans residents homes for a fee. There is too much work for this one person to do it all and therefore the place is in a constant mess. The residents have complained for years about roaches and bed bugs and the exterminators are only doing a minimal job at containment.

The staff of this apartment complex NEVER return any phone calls. When the resident asked for help they refused!. I called and talked to the manager Cindy asking who owned them she refused to provide the information and said "Look it up!:" then proceeded to hang up on me.

I am at Home Towne at Garland, and I am happy with it. A friend of mine lives here and gives me the name. So, I come over and apply. Everything is good, and there is a lot here. The rooms are in nice sizes. They are not too big and not really small either. They have activities like bingo, cards, and different games. I liked it overall. It was a really nice place, and it was quiet.

My wife is now at HomeTowne at Garland. The whole facility is very nice and it's new. We chose this place because it's very affordable and it's for active senior citizens. They have a game room, a picnic for the 4th of July, and a swimming pool. They teach crochet and painting and things like that, so it's very good.
