My father was sent to Estates for physical therapy after being cleared from the hospital to do so. Every time I visited, he did not have water available to him and the nurse call button was out of reach as well as everything else. There was mold in his oxygen tube. I discussed these issues with several staff members and was assured the issues would be fixed but, nothing changed (except, he was given a new oxygen tube) and he was becoming much worse than when he was at the hospital. I also discussed this with multiple staff members. After being in Estates for only a week, my father died. No cause was given, and the doctor didn't even sign the coroner's papers. This is a dirty, poorly run facility.

Always short staffed. Can't keep staff. Patients go weeks without a bath. They lose all of the patients clothes. Staff talk down to the patients. Health department is always in the building on complaints. Administration does not return calls or fix problems when brought to their attention. Their patients are violent and the police are there frequently. They don't answer call lights. When patients are sick, they won't send them to the hospital. Building is filthy.

Loved one was a resident. PT and Ot was laughable. Except for the last few weeks of moms stay. Previous to that mo received on the average 5 mins from of PT about 5 mins.. not enough cna's . We were blessed to be on a wing that had the best cna's... but in between when those cna's weren't there my loved ones was given her sleeping pills in her dinner so they would not have to deal with her. You have to fight and claw to get what your Loved one needs.things are always the residents fault

Poor communication between front office and nursing staff as well as to doctor. Poor communication between nurses. Poor communication between nurses to doctor for the care of your love one. The doctors and nurses don't communicate with families. They give that I don't care what you say as a concerned family member about your love one. Try to put your love one out if you don't comply to their wants. They are not concerned about the needs and quality of life for your love one. Don't put your love one in this facility if you want to know what's going on about them and stress concerns. They don't listen. No star for this facility. Given one star because I had too.
