My dad is settled in. He's only been there for a week and a half, but so far the people have been very pleasant, very nice, and kind. It's been good and they're very attentive, so I would recommend them. The food is good too. We're also happy with the nurse and the care he's being given. His room is nice; it's a little studio apartment with a kitchen. They also have a nice courtyard area.

DO NOT GO HERE OR PLACE A FAMILY MEMBER HERE IF YOU WANT FAIR AND ADEQUATE TREATMENT!!! Horrifying experience for my family member!! They felt unsafe and were treated like an extreme bother. The specific guidelines were provided by the doctor as to the care they were supposed to have and the results were haphazard to say the least!! For 5 days my person was told they had to have an evaluation before they could receive physical therapy and it never happened. So pathetic that it went as far as one "nurse" came in to their room without knowing my family member and acted so out of line and disrespectful, providing no assistance when asked, responded by saying they could check back with someone else on things they could've helped with. Ultimately my family member had to tell them to leave the room and then they called my person aggressive after they were frightened to death, still shaking the next morning!! The "nurses" gossip among themselves and exchange opinions therefore the treatment is consistently horrible. There were 2 people who were decent the whole time my family member was there. Ultimately my person regressed significantly in the progress they originally made in the hospital. DO NOT GO HERE OR PLACE A FAMILY MEMBER HERE IF YOU WANT FAIR AND ADEQUATE TREATMENT!!! (I put 1's on this because you have to mark at least one star for it to take otherwise it should be a negative 10!

My grandmother has received the most amazing care since she has been at Regency. My many family members and I visit her at all times of the morning, afternoon, or evening and always find her in the best of spirits. She is cared for in the way we would care for her if she were at one of our houses. The meals are always something she enjoys and the dining room is large enough for family and friends to visit with the residents. My grandmother is always well groomed and happy. She has to option to participate in many social activities and events. The grounds are just lovely. They are well cared for and very inviting. The facility itself is always clean, brightly light, and peaceful. There are TVs, books, and games for the residents and their families to enjoy. It is such a blessing to have found a facility that we are happy with. Our grandmother deserves nothing but the best and we feel we have found it here.

I liked the staff members that I meet at Regency Assisted living center in El Paso very much. Everyone was very welcoming to me and my family, and we enjoyed our quick visit to view the facility.I was slightly concerned with the driving distance from my home on the East side of El Paso to the facility, but with a personal recommendation to use the facility I felt safe looking into it as a place for my grandfather to live.My wife was surprised with the affordable rates that we would pay, and expected it to be much more expensive than it is. We have not yet looked into any other facilities to compare the rates, but by what we learned during our visit that would be provided it seemed very affordable. After we check around to be sure the prices and room sizes are similar to the competition we will most likely schedule to move our grandfather here.

The North Hills Assisted Living Facility happened to be in the same area we were looking at in El Paso for our aunt, so we decided to stop in. They were really accommodating, despite our not having an appointment. They are very organized here -- and issue a regular newsletter to keep everyone up to date. We really appreciated that. It gave us a sense of how the facility is run. They announce events and resident activities such as luncheons. All of the activity rooms were nicely decorated, clean and bright. We could see that the residents here have a great time. They also regularly enjoy a variety of stimulating events outside of the facility weekly. The dining room options were really nice as well -- plenty of healthy foods offered and made to order as they like. The menus featured many alternatives and everything could be adapted to dietary needs. They serve many snacks throughout the day and evening. The furnishings throughout were cozy, bright and comfortable. There were lots of areas to rest and relax individually and with friends and family. The individual rooms were nicely decorated with plenty of space. Each was equipped with a large bathroom and good storage. The bathrooms were very spacious with safety bars for easy access. There was lots of light in all of the rooms we saw, as well -- with nice courtyard views. A very nice facility for seniors to live.

Regency El Paso is one of the best Assisted Living facilities that I have ever visited. My father lived at Regency towards the end of his life, and I must say that their care is spectacular. The caretakers there were helpful not only to him but to my entire family. I know that in the hands of others, my father may not have gotten the care that he so needed in the most difficult period of his life. The caretakers were professional, yet gentle and friendly. They were always more than willing to help and always made sure that the residents were safe and secure. They always made sure my dad had his medicine and food and was comfortable. Other residents who had more mobility than my dad always seemed to be having fun doing different activities and going on outgoings. This is an excellent Assisted Living Facility and I would highly recommend it along with El Paso Hospice care (if necessary) for your loved one.
