My dad moved into A Daughter's Care - Shennandoah House. The place is great. It's intimate. There's not a lot of people, so the place is really good as far as attention. The staff is friendly, very knowledgeable, and helpful. They serve three meals a day. There are not enough people to play bingo or anything like that, so it's just more one-on-one interaction. They have a courtyard and my dad goes outside every now and then.

I can afford to put my mother into A Daughter's Care - Shennandoah House. Plus, it's small. There's not a lot of patients there. They got like maybe seven or eight patients in there. Also, it's close to my home. The rooms are beautiful. They are nice. The house looks nice, fresh, and open. They even have a big, nice backyard. So far when I go there, they have someone out in the backyard doing some garden work like that. They're also watching TV. They have all different kinds of stuff that they're doing. The residents seem to be content and quiet. It's just nice. It's always nice and clean when I go in there.

I liked A Daughter's Care - Shennandoah House. It was a very nice tour. It had a really homey and relaxing feeling. It was nice and pleasant there. It felt like a family atmosphere, and very comfortable. When I got there, they had some residents sitting out and it looked like they were getting along with everyone. I believe the owner was the one who assisted me with the tour. She was very nice, friendly, and seemed well-educated on what she was doing. I saw one room that was available, and it was nice. It had a full bathroom and a closet. Everything that I saw was really nice. Everything was in order. It was well kept. I didn't see anything laying around or anything like that. Even on the outside it was very nice and clean. When you walked up to the door, there was no trash or litter at the door. They had a doorbell, and the doors were locked at all times. They do have business hours that you can visit. After that, you will need to let them know if you're going to be late or returning the resident if you take them out. They had two dining areas for them to eat in. There was also a calendar of activities.

My sister moved into A Daughter's Care - Shennandoah House. I like it. So far, it's been three weeks that she's been there, and I like the ratio of caregiving because it's a small place. Communication is great, they call daily, I get pictures of my sister, and I get texts regarding her blood pressure or whatever. It has a home-like environment, they are clean, and I visit as regularly as I can according to COVID regulations.

We’ve found A Daughter's Care-Shennandoah House for my mom. The people running the facility are wonderful to work with. It’s very clean, very bright, and very welcoming. She’s very comfortable there. They do arts and crafts and different activities outside of exercising and music. She enjoys the meals very much. They make the main meal for everybody, but they make special meals for her if she doesn’t like what they’re having. They make things they know she likes.
