My husband had a stroke and after the hospital was sent to the Hill Country rehab facility in Copperas Cove TX. It's a nice looking place, outside and inside as much a I can see just thru the window because of the virus quarantine. I hate dealing with hospitals, but I was pleasantly surprised with the care they provide for the patients in their facility. There is a guy named Corby, who is working with old people and seems taking better care of them than their own families. Because of the hard present limitations we ran into several problems, and with the help of Corby they all were fixed. I called and texted him many times and he never left my problem unsolved. I just want to thank all workers and especially Corby for awesome care and support in this horrible for all of us time. I love you guys. Thank you! Thank you Corby!!! Tanya G.

No doctor available only npr, staff yells at each other, no caring or compassion, just give dollars. no amenities, just poorly trained staff if they even got trained. tiny rooms. no activities seen. no rehab. Place should be torn down and replaced with real rehab.

My mom has been a resident of Hill Country nursing home for over 10 years now. She loves to sing with the church groups, play bingo, and at Christmas time go and see the lights at Blora on Ft. Hood. The staff are caring and loving to Mom and I have been thrilled to have found a wonderful place for mom to live.

This facility is a caring heart society. This is the place that with live and care patients walk out 98 percent whole. My brother was one of those persons that came in as a vegetable and left as a normal person. I highly recommend this place from the heart .

I had a family member here. And when she passed away the staff was very supportive. They sent flowers and food. Also, Mary in admissions came to the funeral. I know she didn't have to, but she came and gave moral support. The rooms are simple but felt like home after we decorated. My mom played bingo and did some beading.

My mother was recently admitted to the rehab side. She was there for only a few days before returning to the hospital Upon arrival the nurse looked her over, as I did plus I checked her out before leaving the hospital.. In the few days there my mother sat on a bed pan for two hours, dirty gown which we had to ask for a new one, food stuck in her hair. She was to be on a specific diet, which she was fed cake everyday, salt, real sugar (diabetic also plus the diet she was on). I was told they didn't know (they were told multiple times of this) Meds: um this is another story, I had rang the call light and timed after watching multiple aids walk by, it was 36min. later when I went to retrieve someone for help. (as one of the nurses told me "its not my job you need to get one of those aids! as she was sitting)in that time she was chocking, thank god I was there because no one came in. My mom ended up with a bed sore (which she did not have before arriving there.)now has to see wound care. If they would of got her up and helped her a little more this may of prevented some of this. This place done as little as possible. Most of the patients are elderly and depend on these people for help, I will not send my mom back there any time soon.

Everything is good at Hill Country Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. The place is very clean but they need to improve their laundry procedures because they are quite unorganized.
