My mother said that Copperas Cove Nursing & Rehab staff, and the food and service are excellent. The food is excellent according to my mom. What's supposed to be hot is hot, what's supposed to be cold is cold, and it tastes good. She said the room that she's in is a nice room. They have a rehab center inside, the rehab is good, and the rehab staff is good with her. Overall they take care of her. She's in a 14-day quarantine so she's not out mingling with the residents yet.

We toured Copperas Cove Nursing & Rehabilitation. The facility itself was nice, but the people inside were not. You could see patients sitting and not having anybody to talk to. They were sitting in the hallways instead of in the recreational area. They tried to get the nurse's attention and they ignored them. To me, that wasn't a very good indication of what kind of treatment my mother would get. They were reluctant to even give me a tour. They did have common spaces, but the activities were limited to one a day. They had afternoon bingo, but there was nothing for them to do in the morning other than sit around and watch TV. They didn't even show me the physical fitness place.

Sent an eviction notice for my dad while he is laying in the hospital dying. They sent him and we're aware. Cold, callous, uncaring. Only care about the bottom line. If you love someone, do not send them here.

When I came into the facility it smelled awesome like you had just washed your clothes at home. The rooms were clean, some were not and that's understandable. The staff was very friendly for the most part. When I went they were playing bingo and they have a calendar up that lets everyone know what activities are going to happen for that day. The building has a therapy room incase anyone needs therapy. I bring my mom every so often to do a 5 day stay and I highly recommend this facility.
