I am very happy here. I just moved in 4 days ago and am excited to get to do some of the activities. The hardest part was moving into 524 sq ft after living in a 2000 sq ft house. All the sorting of 57 years of memories was and is still difficult.

I went to look at Morada Cedar Hill. The thing that I like best is that they have independent living and assisted living facilities on campus. The facility was very clean. It's kept up very well. They have a lot of activities. They offer three meals a day. They have a movie night. They take them shopping and offer transportation for their residents. They also have housekeeping services. The person who I talked to seemed to be very knowledgeable and pleasant.

Morada Cedar Hill Independent Living had their annual get-together last night where my sister and I were invited. So, we checked the place out. The facility was very clean. They offered cover parking. They had a lot there to offer if you needed it. We were shown a room and they explained everything. The outside appearance and grounds were very clean and neat. And when you walked in, it was inviting open spaces. They were all very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent - barbecued chicken, brisket, twice-baked potatoes, beans, cornbread, peach cobbler, and apple cobbler. They even offered beer. I was surprised that it wasn't just water or tea. Every table had a centerpiece. There were bandanas on the tables. I met several of the residents there and they were very friendly and outgoing. Rebecca was so involved with keeping the music going, and the activities going, she was intermingling with everybody, and yet she still had time to talk to my sister and myself. She was doing an excellent job there.

Morada Cedar Hill Independent Living seemed to be a very attractive, calm facility. When you walk in, it reminds you kind of like a hotel. It was spacious and clean and the staff that I interacted with were very friendly. They have a dining room and all utilities and meals are furnished. There is a laundry room on each floor that the residents can use at no charge. They have an exercise room, a library, and an arts and crafts room. The person seemed to be interested, listening to me, and concerned about what I said I was interested in. They took the time to talk to me and show me around.

Morada Cedar Hill Independent Living is a very welcoming, warm place when you first arrived. It's very clean. From what I can tell, quite a few activities were available to the residents. I would rate the staff very high. They were very attentive to us. We went over there with no appointment. The general manager sat down and talked to us. She went over all the financial things and tried to work out some things. The first-line management was very good. The apartments were very clean. I thought the layouts were nice. Good views. Very accessible. I would rate them as high as I can rate them. It's a very well-kept place, and they're very involved with their residents. And the staff seemed to be adequate from what I could tell.

We are moving into Morada Cedar Hill Independent Living. We are getting a two-bedroom-two-bath. It's all-inclusive with food and utilities and all that. I think we will be very happy there. It looks very nice. They have a general store inside. They're laid out very nicely. The staff members are very friendly and ready to answer any questions you may have. All the people I met were very nice. They have a small library, a beauty/barbershop, and a little computer area. They have all kinds of game rooms and theater and all that kind of stuff.

I went to Morada Cedar Hill. They were very responsive. They got right back with me. The facility was very nice. They had resident activities, they could shop right there on the grounds. They had transportation. They also offered other stuff like memory care, and it was more assisted. They had a cafeteria and they served a meal. I didn't taste the food, but I did see the cafeteria. It was clean. The only thing that I didn't like about that, was their one-bedroom didn't come with a stovetop, and I'm guessing because they provide meals. So they had the refrigerator and they had a kitchen, but it didn't have a stove or oven if you choose to cook in your own room. They said that they would provide you with a burner so you could cook on the counter. They were pricey.

I'm going to move to Morada Cedar Hill Independent Living. My tour was very nice. I have to get a shower chair because they didn't have a shower chair there. I may have to get a sofa or something for the living room because it's a one-bedroom. It's nice, and the facility was really nice. The staff who assisted me during the tour was great. His name was Chris, and he was very good, he showed me everything. I haven't eaten there but they offered me something to drink, so that was nice. They have a movie room, bingo night, and a couple of things. The tour was great. I spoke with a couple of folks there who were very nice.

I'm in Morada Cedar Hill Independent Living in Cedar Hill. It's been fine, and I am very happy with it. I liked that I could afford it, and it's close to my daughter. I'm only about 6 miles away from my daughter. The people here are very nice and all the amenities that they offer are just great. Overall, I'm just generally happy with everything. It's very clean, and the people are all very friendly. I have no complaints about anything. I haven't seen anything that I was repelled by. Everything seemed fine. It was more a price that I could afford, but being close to my family is the reason I chose it. All the other places that were recommended to me were farther away from me or cost more. The activities look like they're going to be great. There's a lot to do here. I just haven't been able to do anything because I'm still trying to get moved in and get settled. The value is great. The budget that I had worked out for myself that I could live off of was $1800 a month. This place is just a little bit under what my budget was, so this works out really well for me.

We liked it here and it's still an option for my parents. The staff was fantastic, gave us a good tour of everything, was very knowledgeable, and very caring. The facility was everything we were looking for. The tour was very informative, and they answered all the questions we had. We talked about the menu and the cook; we were satisfied.

We were accommodated very kindly here. My brother and I started off with lunch together, and we went to see the facilities. The physical appearance was very good. They will let me bring my little dog, but the room available was on the second floor, and I'd have to take him down the elevator to get him outside. I was almost overwhelmed by the amount of facilities available. They've got places to work puzzles and to play games. The staff was very helpful and very thorough. Everything I saw was clean. They had all kinds of eating facilities. You can have a standard meal or you can ask for specials. There's a refrigerator and microwave in the kitchen.

We have moved into here. The people are very friendly, and the rooms are nice, bright, clean, and big. We are just very pleased with it. They have a very nice staff. There are lots of people around here, and they take care of everything. The floors are carpeted, part of it is wood in the proper places, and there is a lot of storage. It is really nice.

It is absolutely fabulous. We’re just in love with the staff and the facility, but my father is going to need more care. It’s independent living, so it’s just not for us. It’s very warm, very homelike, and the staff is friendly. It felt very safe and welcoming. We saw a model room that was nice. The dining room was absolutely gorgeous and full of people. Obviously, people love to go in the dining room. They also have a movie theater, which was fantastic, and show movies there at night. Their marketing director, Leigh, was just absolutely phenomenal. I just loved working with her, and she has followed up with me several times. This is just a personal preference, but I didn’t like the common areas on the first floor. When you walk in, there’s a lot of clutter in the lobby, which is kind of overdone with too many items, but generally, the place is very warm.
