We have friends who stay at Crestview Methodist Retirement Community, and we've heard good recommendations. The facility looks nice. They have a lot of amenities. They have a library, a dining room, an exercise room, a swimming pool, a card room, and a chapel. The staff members seemed very friendly and interested in taking care of the residents. I have tried their food, and it was good food.

I toured Crestview Methodist Retirement Community. It has an array of services all under one roof from independent living, assisted living, long-term care and memory care, and skilled nursing. Sometimes people have to transition. It's nice that they can transition within that place. The difference with Crestview is it is a nonprofit, which I like. Some of their funds go back into another fund that helps subsidize residents if they have to move to another level. It's very well managed, a beautiful place, and good upkeep of the grounds and whatnot. It's a pretty impressive place. It's big. The assisted living is on two floors, so you have an elevator involved. The room that I toured has an accommodation bedroom and a living room. It's more of like a little apartment and it was just spectacular. In most of the other rentals for a studio apartment, the price goes up according to the level of care you need, and here they don't do that. It's all-inclusive. They tell you upfront what kind of care you're going to get at assisted living.

Crestview Methodist Retirement Communities was really nice and a lot cheaper. I've known several people who lived there. We've been invited over to have dinner with them and the meals were fantastic. They got a real good chef there. The place was extremely clean and the staff was very nice. It's one of the better places that I've seen. It's fairly new. They have a full gym, an outdoor heated pool, and a whole bunch of activities. They stay busy all the time. I looked at the one-bedroom that has a kind of a den to it, a bath and a half, a full kitchen, and a patio that you can go out on. You can either get them carpeted or uncarpeted, whichever you want.

We chose Crestview Retirement Community for mom because she needs skilled nursing care. It's a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. It has a complete rehab staff, nursing staff, and a doctor on-staff. They're very conscientious, personable and approachable. The food looked good to me, but she's not much of an eater. Right now, she's in need of such an intensive rehab that we don't even go down the activities; they have lots of activities. It's elegant, immaculately clean, and exceptional. It's not the cheapest place, but you get what you pay for. It's right next to the hospital. When she has to go over to the hospital, they can transport her over there immediately. There's no delay in getting her into emergency care.

My Father is a resident at Crestview Retirement Community, in their Assisted Living Community. He is treated like a family member, by caring, competent nursing staff. The food is excellent and my Father is a " picky" eater! The staff is fabulous, and many staff members have worked there for over 15 years! Management is responsive and we are very happy that our Father is so well taken care of.

We picked Arbor Oaks At Crestview. It was great. It was only 2 years old. Everything was new. It was very well designed. The apartments were laid out with no waste of space. It was really nice. They had good number of staff. They seemed well fit for the job.

Crestview is very well maintained and spacious and has plenty of opportunities for the residents to mingle. There are group areas spaced throughout the building where they can meet and do puzzles and play cards, and there is a main recreation room. There is a nice dining room and a lovely sitting room downstairs that has a piano where volunteers come and play. It is a very nice place. The staff helped me get everything moved in and go through all the paperwork. They showed my mother around when she arrived. They showed her what everything was like there. They were very attentive and very friendly. Each wing has its own nurse's station. All the staff came by and introduced themselves to her, or they introduced her to other staff members including the nurses, the nursing assistants, the custodial staff, the maintenance staff, and the front desk people, and made her feel welcome. They put her name by the door so she knew exactly where her room was. All of the people who were residing there kept coming by, asking if she was there yet because they wanted to meet her. She moved in the first week of June, and I'm very impressed with them.

I spoke with one of the therapy team and she was very rude and unattentive. She also hung up on me without reason. In a nursing home, really?
