Bastrop Lost Pines Nursing And Rehabilitation Center is a good facility. They give good care, and the staff is friendly and attentive. My mom got a shared room and activities are available. We chose this place, because she actually went there before when she was discharged from the hospital.

Very short staffed especially for bathing residents and especially on the weekends. They shut down on a whim, usually from employees contracting COVID.and cause undue hardship on the residents as a result. My mom waited 9 months for a pair of dentures to be made and the company didn’t complete the job, no follow up on the facility’s part. During the lock down I had to demand my mom be sent to the hospital because she couldn’t get out of bed for a window visit. At the hospital she was diagnosed as having a stroke and was dehydrated. The only, only good things I can say about this facility is the nurses and CNA’s are very friendly, and the facility doesn’t smell like the others in Bastrop.

There were only a couple of good people working. Heard the Don yell at one girl. He was very inappropriate to them. My mom was taking good care of on 300 hall. Georgia was the best nurse. So if your family comes go to her

Bastrop Lost Pines is the worst. They treated your family members like dogs in a kennel. There are two people to a room, and there’s no privacy. It’s a new facility, but it’s the worst. They don’t have activities; they just sit them at the table, while the staff sits at another table and leaves them there. They drug them.

My father went to rehab for about eight weeks at Bastrop Lost Pines, and it was great, I wanted to move in. The food was great, and the care was great. Everything that we asked for, they took care of. They were very attentive to him. The staff really seemed to really care about the residents as opposed to other places that I've been. They really were well suited for that career because they were real caregivers. I really felt like my dad was in the hands of a family member. The rooms were plain, but it was definitely functional. There were two beds to a room. You could have a private room if you wanted, and you could bring your own stuff in. It was clean, and there was no weird smell. It was just awesome.
