The staff here is among the best I have encountered in the last decade that I have been managing my mothers care. They truly do care about her well being and her state of mind. They coddle her and tend to her happiness, such as it is at this stage of life. Their communication with me is great and I never have to wonder how she is doing. I only hope that at some point I get this level of care as my life winds down.

Director of nurses reliatated when I claimed lack of care to a central line they did not cap and got infected. Patient was manhandled and injured by male aide roughly giving bath. Director took staff side and accosted family member who COMPLAINED. We removed our family from this home.

Azle Manor Nursing Homes is very clean, and the rooms are clean. The yard is very lovely, and they have a nice patio for the residents to go outdoors (if they want to). It's probably as nice as any nursing home you can find. The staff does a good job. Of course they're shorthanded, as in all places. They do a pretty good job for what they have. There's a lot of activities. They have bingo. They also have different churches that come in and do music and stuff like that. The food is pretty good. I would go down there and help feed my husband. They do a good job taking care of the ones and feeding one on one those that need assistance. They have a very good director that does the activities. I think they could improve a little bit on the food for the seniors. If you're paying out of pocket, it's $150 a day. So I guess you probably get your money's worth because you couldn't go anywhere cheaper.

My mom has been moved to this facility after being in another community... All I can say “What a different I’ve seen in her care”. Staff members have very attentive. The facility is very clean and Doesn’t have an odor of a nursing home. We received an new letter, YES a newsletter from a nursing home. We are so Blessed to have Our Mom at Azle Manor. Keep up the good work.

My mother-in-law has had wonderful care here for over 2 years. I was impressed with the welcoming, clean atmosphere and very friendly staff. It did not have a nursing home smell and my MIL called it a resort. Everyone pitched in & helped out. We couldn’t have asked for better care.

I will say that my relative was doing very fine and was known to be all over the nursing home, at Azle manner. As members of the family we were not allowed to visit, but it has been made known that they were not following CDC guidelines. I had to notify the state of Texas, about his care there. It wasn't until I saw a television article by other family members, that they were having problems. Under staff was one of them, but not proper mask-wearing and PPE. Very unsatisfied with his care.

Our 98 yoa aunt was treated lovingly, patiently and well cared for during her stay. From the aides to nurses to therapists to administrators, we couldn't have asked for better care. Our aunt passed away and the staff even made that a beautiful experience.

Most staff is rude Patients left in their own filth Clothes not changed for days My immobile father was constantly left without the nurses button-no way to ask for help Im not sure how often patients are to be checked on but i am positive they do not meet the standard We are talking several hours

This is no place for family members. My mom passed away in this place. The smell is horrible, the care for the elder is horrible. They couldn't tell me that my mom fell. There were bruises all over her face. They wouldn't even talk to me they let her die.

This facility has way too few employees for the number of patients they accept. My 79-year old wife was a patient there following hip surgery last month. She was supposed to be on oxygen 24/7. 4 different times she wasn't on oxygen when I got there, once the machine didn't even work; twice she was on the breathing apparatus & no one came to remove it; (I did) & then she was given an overdose of pain medication which almost killed her She was in I C U at Azle hosp. on a breathing machine with a tube down her throat for 4 days! When I tried to talk to them, the ol' gal said they didn't do anything wrong & they had records to prove it

My boyfriend's grandpa spent some time in Azle Manor, they took very good care of him from what I have been told, the pros of is stay was a nice staff, flexible for his family to visit and take him out to eat, they would book him a spare room for visitations so food could be brought over. They even helped rehabilitate half of his body(he was disabled in a seizure). Yet there were a couple of things that could have been improved. Once he was able to sneak out and get halfway down the street with his wheelchair, it was requested that he would have his own room so that he would not have any violent outbursts, but he had a room partner and outbursts did happen, and some of his clothes were lost by the laundry women, but for the most part it was an okay experience for him.
