My mother moved into Tech Ridge Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care. We chose it because it was very clean and well-kept, and I liked what they had to offer. The place looks fairly new, and it is very clean. Their dining room is like a 5-star restaurant. It's nice and clean. They have a menu, so they don't cook the same thing for everybody every day. You get to pick from a menu and they have maybe 7 or 8 different dishes. They have 4 or 5 different desserts. They have a lot of activities. They have games like card games and bingo. They have a gardening class. They take them out and they play with plants outside. The first day that I checked her in, they had a Father's Day Celebration. So, they invited all the fathers to have dinner with them. The staff seems to be very accommodating, very attentive, and very helpful. My mom always speaks Spanish and maybe half of the staff there speak Spanish, and they all speak Spanish in the cafeteria.

Tech Ridge Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care was a really nice facility. I've gone there a couple of times, and each time I go the personnel has changed. But they're all friendly and kind. They had a craft room, a little theater, and they had a lot of rooms for activities.

We looked at Tech Ridge Oaks and that was really good, but they didn't have an opening in memory care. They only had opening in assisted living at the time. They're brand new, very clean, and very bright in there. The people I met were very nice. I met one of the workers and the lady that gave us the tour. They were both very friendly and very nice. It was a very nice place.

I toured Tech Ridge Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care. I like that the second floor had memory care. It's a newer building, and it's nice and clean. The staff was great. The lady there that hosted me was nice. She gave me some other information, too, about hospice care. I thought that was when you were on your last few days. But they have a service where they would come once or twice a week and check on individuals. That might be an option depending on the Veteran's Benefits. I think my mother is at the point where she needs somebody there with her for safety reasons.

My father is in Tech Ridge Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care. He's in the assisted living part, but he is watched closely because of his memory. It's very clean and very nice as far as the amenities are. They are having problems keeping people on staff like everyone else, but they are very careful to watch out for the clients. The physical appearance is very up-to-date. The first thing my father said was it looked like a fancy hotel, not understanding where he was, so that speaks a lot to me because he's used to nicer things. They have daily things for the patients to do (three or four things a day) and they're not always the same thing. The patients can go pick up a piece of paper and get the times and the location of where it will be. If they are forgetful, they will come and get the patient out of their room, so that they can attend. They have the courtyard, and the walking path, and they have on-staff CNAs regularly walking the hallways, checking on people. They have laundry done, and they have a barbershop. They have like a five-star restaurant.

Tech Ridge Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care is a beautiful facility. It is a two-story facility and has everything you would need in there. The staff was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very accommodating. They had crafts and puzzles. They had a movie theater and an outdoor area where they did some planting in. The rooms were nice. We were looking at the studio, and they were decent-sized for a studio. It's a fairly new facility and very nice.

Tech Ridge Oaks is very, very nice. It's the newest of the ones we saw. It's all brand new, so it has all new furniture. The staff was nice, very supportive and very nice. They have a nice activities area, both for memory care and regulars. They have two chefs that work there. It's in a nice area, it's kind of secluded. It's not near a busy highway or something and it has a walking trail in the back. There's just a lot of nice things we liked about it. We weren't able to try the food but we will, next time we go. The people that we talked to said they like it though. Also, if the people who live there have a certain recipe they like, they'll make that recipe for everybody. They have all kinds of things that are personalized for the people who live there. They have bingo nights and they have an actual theater. They have guitars, pianos, and art. They have cooking for people who can do that kind of stuff. They have games and they just seem to be very involved.

I visited Tech Ridge Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care for my friend. Everything was very serene the day that I went. It was before Christmas or the week of Christmas. It looked lovely and clean, and there was calm music in the background. It was a very pleasant environment. The personnel were very friendly. The room we saw was just a vacant room, and it was very clinical, sterile, and simple. I'm sure it's the same everywhere until they get their personal effects in there, but it was an adequate room. The staff was very friendly and engaged. Everything seemed very orderly. We walked up into the 2nd level, and they had an activity going. It was a very pleasant visit for me. We went into the staff's office and visited privately there. They seemed to have a variety of activities. There was a TV going and only one or two ladies were watching that. There was a big table and quite a few people around engaging in an art type project. She showed me an area where they would have a variety of things to keep their minds occupied. I think it was snack time, and there was a group having a snack in another area. I felt that it was clean and had a good smell, and that's always something that you watch for. The person that took me around and the girls at the desk were very personable. They had a large welcoming room and a large entry area. I had to report to the reception area and give the lady anything that I had in my hands and they took my temperature.

We had an appointment at Tech Ridge Oaks, but they weren't prepared for our visit. It looked pretty and new, and the lady that showed us around was really nice. They had a list of activities for the memory care and assisted living residents. They have a salon, a workout area, and an art area. The closets and the rooms were small, but light and bright. It just wasn't very well organized. The outdoor space was a little stark and uninviting, and the place looked clinical.

My visit at Tech Ridge Oaks was very brief. I didn't stay there that long; they did a little tour for me. It's brand new, nice, clean, and beautiful, but it was a little too expensive for me. The apartments were very nice and adequate. It was not an issue of amenities, but it was a matter of price. They have socials, activities, and transportation. They serve three meals a day, and they transport the residents to doctors' appointments as well. The staff was very nice and very helpful.
