The facility is nice and very quite. However the pool area in the photo is just as depicted. Very large and beautiful but rarely used. Partly because children are prohibited from enjoying it except for a few select hours on weekends. So if you're looking for a place to live where you can swim with your grandchildren keep looking.

ArborView Circle C Ranch had lots of activities. It was very clean and very new. It was in a wooded location with nothing close to it. I think they provided continental breakfast, but I'm able to cook for myself, pick up and have things delivered, and all of that. For somebody who's in pretty good shape like I am, it's a good place. They had several one-bedroom apartments available. Some of them were new and had never been occupied before, and everything was just in great shape, so that was impressive. They showed me a swimming pool, a theater, and an arts and crafts room. They had a happy hour bar area. They had the view of just woods and no parking lots. You can see downtown Austin from one side, and you can see nothing but woods from the other side. It's located on a land reserve where nothing can be built, so it's going to stay pristine and private. My older daughter lives very close. We both went together last Friday afternoon, and we were both quite impressed with it. The staff were very friendly and very receptive to questions. They did a good job with the tour.

I'm going to choose ArborView because it's beautiful, new, inexpensive and friendly. It's out in the middle of nowhere, so there are lots of trees and places for my dog. Only one meal is included, which is breakfast. They have the same activities that they had everywhere else that I've looked at. They have swimming, aerobics, cards, games, backgammon, poker, you name it and they've got it. The building itself is fantastic and brand-new, and all the amenities are beautiful.

ArborView was brand new. The apartment house was very nice and clean. They had one and two-bedroom units. It's not the kind of place that has medical services. They're senior apartments. They had an outdoor pool, different exercise classes, and activities throughout the week. They had an elevator. There was Continental breakfast, no other meals. The staff was very good, very accommodating, and showed me a few different apartments. She knew what I was looking for, answered questions, and talked with me on the phone. They've been available whenever I've called, and they've called back. They had an exercise room as well.
