The Premier of Alice

My mother has moved into The Premier of Alice. She needs full nursing care at this point. I have not seen a facility like this and I've been in a lot of nursing homes. I have absolutely nothing negative to say as far as the care, the condition of the facility itself, and the compassion they have. It's not just for my mom because I watch them care for other people too. Their staff works very well together, from the maintenance guy to the top-level guy who even brought my mom's lunch yesterday and talked to her for a couple of seconds. I would recommend it to anybody who is looking for a nursing home. It's clean inside and out. They keep the grounds very appealing so the curb appeal is beautiful. The interior is extremely clean because they're constantly cleaning the rooms. They change the bedding and all that when the residents go out to eat. In my mom's case, though, they have to work around that because she is at a point where she is not getting up and is hardly in a wheelchair anymore so she's being fed at this point. They also give her a nutritional drink. It's a protein drink and they provide that at every meal. They have bingo, which my mom participated in early on when she first got there. She was still more active and was in a wheelchair then so she played it. They also have a movie time where they provide popcorn and they have it in a conference room. They have a group where someone would provide them with ingredients in a recipe to make something like a special nacho or an onion dip. They interact with the residents through that, and they do that once a week. They have an activities calendar. They take people out of the facility, and they take them shopping. One time, they were telling me that they were taking people to a spa. I think they did an aroma type of thing because they had a large room set up like a beauty shop. The activities director was also the one doing the nails for them.

My dad is in The Premier of Alice. The facility is new and very clean. The staff is very efficient and excellent. We feel that my dad is being well taken care of. He loves the food. He said they are very good cooks. He's a picky eater, but he loves it. They are a very reasonable price. They have a refrigerator, and you control your own AC in each room. The bathrooms are big. My dad's room is big enough for two big La-Z-Boy chairs, a TV, and his bed. So he's got plenty of room to move around. They have a couple of outdoor spaces where you can sit down with lots of shade. It's very pretty outside the way they have it landscaped.

Very pleased with care given to my mother facility is very clean and staff is friendly. The best memory care and assisted living choice around.

The Premier of Alice Assisted Living is a private home, and there are only six ladies. It's in a residential setting, very clean and very pleasant. The residents are active. The management texted every day and give me update. I've gotten a message today that last night was very good. We're doing this along with hospice. My mother likes the food, and they also have snacks. They have some crafts, and they do outings. The place is immaculate.
