My dad lives in Prairie Sunset Village. They are wonderful. The staff is amazing. They are very kind and caring and they have no problem going over and beyond to help their people in the facility. I can't say enough good stuff about them. They are very good. The facility is nice. It's very clean. It's an excellent place. I have never eaten there. To my knowledge, the food is good. They have a puzzle they can work on all the time. They have devotions and exercise every day. I know they have some other activities that give them a little physical movement, like ring toss and things like that. I'm not sure of all the activities because my dad is just now starting to participate. He's kind of coming out of his shell a little bit. But they're always doing something. I know. They play bingo. They're very good with having things for them to do to keep their minds busy and also get some exercise too. It's very reasonable.

I was very surprised at the care that my grandpa received. Often times you hear horror stories on how the residents are mistreated. This facility was a place of trust and often times budding hope for the residents. My grandfather was treated with respect as an individual. At first I along with rest of the family was leery at allowing grandfather to go into the residency program. But our fears were shortly alleviated by the friendly well educated and hardworking staff. I was thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness and number of fun events the staff had scheduled for the residents. One thing all the residents and visitors defiantly loved is the friendly cat that roams the hallways visiting patients. I had never before seen something so cute as that. Even though I wish that someone in the family had the ability to take care of Grandpa I am happy and glad that there was such a wonderful place that he could stay at and recover.
