I had to leave my mother there for a week. They for got to give her lunch one day. On that Saturday they where supo to bathe her. So they said she would have to wait till Wednesday. She did not bathe the whole week. They kept her bed bound the whole time, they did not move her. We visited everyday and every time we got there she had poop and it was dry. Like she had been sitting on her poop for hours. She came home with a raw butt and bed sores. We sat there for hours to not see anyone come and check on her. She came home smelly and dirty and when you ask staff to change her they would have a attitude. At one point the caught her trying to get out of bed because she had to use the bathroom and mind you she had a fractured hip and a broken femur. And upon taking her there I was told to put names on all of her belongings. And the lost her pjs and expensive blanket. And when we took her home we notice she had a fresh cut in her arm. As soon as you enter the facility it stinks like poop. Disgusting and filthy. Staff is rood and the cnas are rood. If I could put zero stars I would but it doesn’t have that option. I beg you to read reviews. It’s horrible.

When I stepped into this facility, the smell was so bad I started gagging, and I was wearing a mask. My aunts room consisted of paint splattered cement block walls, and upon closer inspection I saw a small congealed clump of feces on the wall. The wooden bed was breaking apart at the side, and the metal bed guard was broken off. The wheel of the bed was covered in dust cobwebs and filth. Her area was between two blue curtains. The sprinkler was so covered in dust and cobwebs I was not sure it would work. I took photos and a video to send to the health dept. A nurse saw me taking photos of the filth and began shouting at me. My aunt was removed the next day. I would advise anyone to visit this place before sending their loved one here.

My experience with Magnolia Manor is excellent. They have friendly staff. They are very good in assisting my mother in anything that she needs. Her room is nice. She is living by herself, and she has a restroom, a nice big flat screen television, and a comfortable bed. She likes the food. The dining room is nice and comfortable. They have bingo and different types of games, and they do different activities together. I was impressed most by the staff, the cleanliness, and the security of the facility.
