Westminster Towers was wonderful, but it is a fee-for-service community. When you go for independent living, you pay for that level, but when you need assisted living, the fee for that level increases. Other than that, I have nothing else but good things to say about the place. I liked the decor and the living facilities were beautiful.

Westminster Towers was very nice, although I didn't get the impression that it's new or newer than the other place I visited. They're renovating it to a certain extent, and they're renovating some of the apartments. I think they're doing a good job, and overall I think it's satisfactory. The place is outstanding. The staff member who gave us the tour was very nice and pleasant. They have the usual features like crafts, they play bridge, they have a reading room, and that sort of thing. In some respects it's institutional. The dining room was attractive and the food was good. They also seemed to have adequate parking.

Westminster Towers was beautiful. They had an indoor pool and they also had nice apartments. I know people there and it's close to my family. They also had general aerobics which I really enjoy. They have a nice little bus that can take you shopping or to your doctor.

My parents moved to Westminster Towers in 2013. One of my parents recently passed away & now I have a parent in the Manor. Westminster has changed a lot over the past 4 years & not for the better. There is staff turnover, meals are not as good as they use to be & fees continue to rise. It appears they are about money & not residents. They have new administration that does not care about longtime staff & the ones that suffer are the residents. I sense the tension & unhappiness when I visit which is quite often. You pay a lot to have a family member cared for only to see staff leaving or unhappy. Decorating to make a show is not as important as residents & the staff that care for them.

Have a family member currently there. Have increased the apartment rent twice in the past year. $2500.00 is too much to pay. If changing to a different apartment there is a $4000.00 fee . One meal a day and its a sit down order from a menu. Can not keep a chef. I hear the meals are poor and not very good. It would be nice if breakfast could be served, could even make their meals cafeteria style. The court yard could be very nice and lovely for residents to sit outside but they dont. They could put some pretty hanging baskets out there, flowers, Koi in the fountain....something to make it more inviting. Only 2 elevators in the building. dont know how the residents would get out if a fire occured. They would not. This place may have been the best around at one time. Not anymore. Old, dirty and way too exspensive!!

Westminster was clean and well-maintained. We only a met a couple of the staff, and they were the people who welcomed me and whom we would work with to get established. The dining area was very nice. They were very nice and very accommodating. If we were going to move into that type of community or if we were coming out from a condo without our own yard and stuff before, it would be fine, and it would be one we would very highly recommend. But as soon as we found out that 90 percent of it was not what we wanted or what we are accustomed to, we had to wipe them out of our wish list. We talked to a couple of the residents who happened to be passing through, and they seemed to be very happy. We really didn’t spend any time going up and looking at the rooms and stuff because it just wasn’t what we were looking for.

My Grandmother lived at Westminster Towers until her passing. I used to visit and have Sunday dinners with her, The last year or so that she was there, I could see that the quality of care was deteriorating. The meals became very distasteful. Each year the fees increased more than what we were told they would be. While once this facility was viewed as the best around, that is not the case now.

My mother lived in Westminster Towers from 2011 until her passing away in the Westminster Rehab facility in 2016. During the last two years of her stay we saw the quality of the facility deteriorate from a first class operation to that of one that she no longer wanted to live in. She was in the process of moving when she unexpectedly died in the Westminster Rehabilitation Facility.

Westminster is all on one floor so it would be easy to evacuate residents in case of any natural disaster, or in case there was a fire. The staff was all courteous, willing and helpful to answer any questions I might have, and to show my mother around. There were 4 to 5 mini buses to take you shopping, pick up scripts, and doctor’s appointments. The security system was good, and I was never standing in a hallway more than 10 minutes before somebody in the staff came by and asked me if they can help me. It was very positive.

My mother-in-law was at Westminster Towers. I know this facility inside and out because I've been here many times. I like absolutely everything with this place. The people were wonderful and very helpful. The facility was always clean. The food is very good.

Westminster has the best value in the area. Dad was already there for independent living, but they have everything on one property, and it’s connected to the church. I recommend Westminster to anyone.
