I'm living in Springfield. It's wonderful, the home is great, and the staff is very helpful. They have singing, Bingo, church services, and all sorts of things. We are living in the independent side and we cook our own food.

Jesse Frank Hawkins was where my mother stayed for about five years. The advantage was the location which was her hometown. She was in a semi-private room with two beds and a curtain they could draw around them if they needed to. Basically, the staff were as good as anybody. The food was fine but they were not real cautious with what they gave to the residents especially since my mom was diabetic. I would suggest they make sure the diet which was specific to the residents. Other than that, everything was fine.

My Mother has been a resident at Springfield Place since April of 2008. She has resided in their Apartments , Assisted living ,and is now a resident of their skilled nursing unit. The staff in the Assisted Living unit ,are the best and my mom got wonderful care while residing there .
