I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Choosing a long term nursing care facility for a family member is a task most people hope they never face. But after our family member suffered a severe brain injury, we knew she needed around the clock nursing care as well as management of her diabetes. Having volunteered at MPM some years ago, I had an inside view of the love and care the event coordinators and staff had for the residents. And I am grateful that when our need arose, MPM had an opening for our family member. There are not enough words of gratitude from us for the wonderful way that the Gold Wing memory care nursing team takes care of our loved one. And it is a team - - the nurses, the dietitians, the physical therapists, the activities director, the case coordinator, the finance team, and others, headed up by Bruce White, the facilities administrator - - all show a dedication to excellence and personalized care for our loved one. To them our family member is not just a number or a "resident"; she is an individual that is known, cared for and loved. And for that, we thank God. And we thank the wonderful staff-family of Mt. Pleasant Manor.

The level of care provided to our family member is well above what I expected it to be. Thank you to all of the staff members for exhibiting the utmost kindness and compassion to our beloved family member! It is very much appreciated and puts our mind at ease knowing that she is receiving the attention and care that she deserves.

This is truly a wonderful facility. My brother is living in Mt. Pleasant Manor in Charleston, SC and I live in Atlanta, GA. However, I have never had to worry about his care. This is a blessing. During the recent evacuation, a result of Hurricane Dorian, Bruce, the director of the facility called me to give me an update on my brother. It does not get any better than this. Dr. Arturo Lindsay

I am thankful for the staff at this facility. I have had family members in the past and currently residing there. The facility is always clean and the staff members are friendly and professional. I can rest assured my loved ones are safe, fed, bathed, given their medications timely,go on outings, get to exercise and have outside entertainment. No one wants to place their mother/father into a facility; however, if they are not able to take care of themselves as the age, this is where I recommend anyone to place a family member. I appreciate the loving team at this Mount Pleasant Manor and I want to thank you all for helping me take care of my mother with dignity, and pride. My Mom do not have to worry about anything living at this facility, regarding her meals, medications, entertainment, or living in a safe environment. Thank you Mt Pleasant Manor

The rooms are cozy and with updated electrical beds. I was fortunate enough to meet the staff and experience a southern hospitality. I noticed the staff doing a great job with activities. The residents were enjoying playing bingo with enthusiasm. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to bring the entire family and enjoy the holidays with my loved one. Thank you for making memorable moments for me and my family.

I am a friend or relative of resident

A friend of the family was placed in this facility. The placed smell awful. The furniture in the rooms were outdated and I overheard some of the nurses talking about one of the residents. Saying how much of a pest he was.. Not professional !!The housekeeping staff has a lot to deal with as far as i can see. I've witnessed nurses dropping paper meds and etc on the floor leaving it there waiting for a housekeeping staff to clean behind them.

I am a friend or relative of resident

Mt. Pleasant Manor was a blessing to my family. Their nurses took care of my grand mother after she fell and broke her hip. Their rehabilitation department was awsome. The provided services 7 days a week and the physical and occupational therapist got my grandma back up and walking, and she retunred home. I was very pleased with the care and everyone was so friendly. I would definitely recommend them to any one looking for long term or short term care.
