My dad is at The Bayshore on Hilton Head Island. The amenities are very nice. They have lots of activities for the residents. The independent and the assisted living apartments are intermingled. So, it's not one wing is assisted and one wing is independent. Some of the residents do have their own personal caregivers that come in and help them with eating and that sort of thing. But they also have art classes. They have lots of different things. They have music regularly. They have film. Not that my dad goes to them, but they have them available. His apartment is very nicely appointed. The bathroom is nice and big. And the food is very good. I have eaten there. The staff were all very friendly, very open, very hospitable, and very welcoming, and they knew the residents by my name.

Staff at Bayshore are exceptionally kind and helpful, a young man named Fisher was very helpful in directing me to locate my sister over the weekend. Very polite and helpful, ensured I received all the help I need and was very friendly and chatty. This is what southern hospitality is all about! Friendly staff make the environment, I feel my sister is in extremely good hands, the staff seem to genuinely care about the individual experience. Not to mention all of the lovely amenities, sweeping ocean views, and the luxury resort style living space. Rooms are comfortable, and I've heard the food is delicious! Very impressed with my visit, would definitely recommend!

My parents moved into The Bayshore on Hilton Head Island. It looks like you're driving up to a luxury hotel. It's the same thing when you walk inside. You walk in the front door, you look through the back window, and you can see the pool. It's quite an impressive sight. The people there are all very helpful. One of the reasons we went there is because my wife and I can get there in about 15 or 20 minutes, so we can get there pretty quickly. The apartment is decent-sized. It was one of the bigger ones that we looked at. We've eaten there twice, and the food was pretty good. They have a bar area, and my parents have gone there for happy hour. They have a lot of activities. The grounds are beautiful.

My mother in law is a resident of the Bayshore. It has truly been the best experience for her and our entire family. The community is like an oceanfront resort with caring staff and great activities. Her apartment is so much nicer than anything else we have seen. Complete with her own washer and dryer and full kitchen! She is able to live independently in her own beautiful space while staying active and engaged. As a family, we sleep much better at night knowing that the compassionate and caring staff is there to help should she need it at anytime now or in the future.

My family lived at The Bayshore, and had a great experience as an Independent resident until we moved out of state for a new job, and they chose to follow us to be close by to grand's. We found the staff to be very accommodating, and attentive and patient to my dad who was extremely hard of hearing. We always loved coming over for Sunday brunch and hanging out on the dock afterwards, such a dream. If you are looking for a retirement community for yourself or your loved one, be sure to check them out, you will not be disappointed.

I have volunteered and worked events at the Bayshore on Hilton Head pre-Covid. The community is a 5 star retirement community that feels like a resort. What impressed me most was the friendliness, and helpfulness of the staff. Not only were they attentive to the needs of the residents but they were always smiling. It was clear that they love what they do at this community. The community is clean, bright, and the water front views out of this world. During interactions with the residents, I had several tell me how happy they are living at the Bayshore. Highly recommend.

We moved my sister into the Bayshore in early January and I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly everything went. They even recommended a small moving company, which carefully packed up all her belongings and moved her in without a hitch. The Bayshore is gorgeous with amazing amenities, including onsite physical therapy, andthe food, which my sister continues to rave about. The staff has been very pleasant and helpful and my sister has adapted to her new environment beautifully. I can’t imagine a nicer place! As you can imagine, the Covid virus is a big worry for us, but the general manager is very focused on keeping the residents and staff safe. To date, there have been no cases, and I believe that is based on how careful they are in making sure everyone wears their mask and stays a safe distance from others. Our family is very comfortable in knowing that our sister is being well cared for at the Bayshore.

The Bayshore on Hilton Head Island was the newest, had the most amenities, and the most scenic of all the places I visited. It was right on the water and it was fancier. It had a resort type atmosphere. The price was higher as well. They had one and two-bedroom apartments with a living room, a bedroom, and a full kitchen. I was more comfortable with that size for my parents. They had a very elegant dining area, which overlooked the water, and it had a bar area where they had happy hour. The staff was very helpful. I saw a lot of people in the lobby having ice cream. They had a very nice swimming pool and a courtyard. It felt like you're in a hotel when you walk in.

My mom is now living in The Bayshore on Hilton Head Island. It is a new facility, about a year old. It has an ocean front view and a boat dock. It's beautiful and the décor is marvelous. The best thing about it is the people who work there are very kind. Overall, the level of care has been really outstanding and they do a good job building relationships with the people who live there. The staff is really marvelous. The food is really good and they have a nice buffet on Sundays. In the event of a hurricane, they have rooms reserved in advance, so they're taking the people in a hotel. We're very satisfied.

When making the decision to safely house ones parents for their retirement, the choices and decisions can be daunting and even, sometimes, intimidating. All of our concerns were alleviated when we met the extraordinary team at The Bayshore on Hilton Head Island, SC. There is not an aspect of living your senior years in comfort and style, with a terrific staff, that has not been considered and implemented. Our interview was informative and showed a level of kindness not found elsewhere in our efforts to secure an appropriate care facility for Mom. The building is solidly constructed and beautifully furnished. The nursing staff is the best I've ever encountered anywhere. The activities are plentiful and reflect a nod to a more active lifestyle, not the conventional games put forth elsewhere. The pool is glorious, the setting, so picturesque that my contemporaries, upon entering The Bayshore, want to live there! From greetings by the charming front desk staff, to the aids, nurses, restaurant staff, maintenance staff and cleaning crew, it is a spectacular home for Mom. And also note that the in house PT option is amazing. Do not hesitate, in fact RUN, to The Bayshore and take advantage of what could well be the best retirement community in the Country.

The Bayshore is right on the water, it's very nice, but the units are quite small. It's a new layout, and they do a pretty good job. It's expensive, and the food is excellent. They have a swimming pool, a library, game rooms, and you can even go for a ride in the ocean.
