My father was in Greer Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center for three months. I loved it because not only was the staff very, very nice and very pleasant but what I loved the most was how they were COVID-19 compliant. They had a machine there that took your temperature and signed you in, and it punched out your I.D. right there at the door. I loved that. Security is in compliance as well, and their doors are always locked. The staff comes to let you in and out, and that's great. They're top of the line. The staff is very friendly and the residents seem very happy. They're clean and there's no foul smell that nursing homes usually have. It was just perfect and then a lot of them were VA clients there. The staff is always working, they're not goofing off, they're very good and I appreciate all that they do. They're taking care of patients that have mood swings, and attitudes and they're being very pleasant to the people who come to visit as well. I paid close attention, and there's no discrimination, like in how they treat the minority like myself as a black woman. I saw a schedule of activities for the patients on his side table, it was a schedule for the whole month. The facility is very nice and very roomy. It gave you a hospital feeling because of the sharing of the rooms. In terms of value for the money, the VA paid for it.

If you care about your loved one Donot put them in here long term we have to clean the room ourselves someone took the wedding band and his necklace with a cross that’s so sad not only do they not clean but you can’t trust them. Staff stays on their cell phones. They don’t interact with them the wheelchair was full of dirty laundry and misc so they are not using them

My mom was at Alpha Health and Rehab a month or so ago. It was horrible; they didn’t take care of the patients. They don’t really give a therapy, rarely was she given a shower, and rarely was anything done. So we took her out initially. However, the food was OK, the room was clean, and she ate in her bedroom, so I have not seen the dining room. The worse thing about the place was the staff, and I think the staff needs to be more attentive to them.
