My mother was a resident. I thought it was a really good community, they worked really hard in getting all the residents involved. And they did a good job getting my mom involved in a lot of things, since she's not really the type of person to do that. The room was very nice and spacious. And with the furniture she had in there, it gave her a lot of room to move around in her walker and not run in to things. The bathroom was very good, it had a walk-in shower so she could get in and out of there very easily. The staff was excellent, they really tried very hard with her. And of course there's always a few you'd like better than the others, but we felt that overall everybody did a good job. We didn't taste the food, but we were in the dining room with her on several occasions, and the food was very appetizing and she said it was good. The staff members were excellent, very caring, and a couple of them even came to her funeral. And they called to tell us that they're visibly upset that she passed. They did some crafts, they played games daily, they went on little excursions, and they had several things to get the family involved like Thanksgiving dinner. And at Christmas they had cookies with Santa where the family members brought cookies and they put them out in the common areas. It just had a Christmas thing to it. Everybody seemed happy, the residents seemed happy and the staff was always smiling and happy whenever you saw them. It was a good overall feeling. The facilities were very nice and they were always very clean. You see more people out in the common areas than in their rooms.

It was a decent place but a little stuffy, ritzy, and a little more upscale. It also wasn't as comfortable. The person who helped me was very nice but I felt like they were trying to see if I'm good enough to fit in there. I felt like I was in a spa because of the décor.

I like it and my tour was good. It's probably my top choice. It's a smaller community and it felt more personal. I got the impression that because it's smaller, they know who is there and they can notice things and be attentive. I talked to an administrator and she was very friendly. I like her. I also met somebody who worked in the dining area, and she was very friendly too. I saw the staff interacting with other residents in a positive way. The dining area was not that impressive though. It was dark and not as impressive as the other places. The rooms were not as nice as some and they were on the small side, but they have the basic necessities.

My mother is in here. It is always very clean. It smells clean when you go in. Everyone is just super great. They treat the patients like their family. She has a private room with a private bath. It is quite large because she has her queen size bed in there, a recliner, another chair, and a dresser. It is very roomy. She has her own heating/cooling system in there. The staff is awesome because if they serve something that she does not like and she is going to eat, they ask her what she wants, and they will go out of their way just to give it to her. I am really pleased with it. The dining area is quite large. They have tables for four, and they have tables for six. I have been there when she has her food. It is very appealing and appetizing. She finishes everything on her plate, which is very unusual for my mom. She likes the food.

I wanted my mother to be closer to me, so I found this place. I'm satisfied with all of them. Everybody did their job, and they were caring. She was there for rehabilitation, but she got dementia very quickly. I was really impressed because I was so disappointed in the other facility she was before. The rooms are nice. You have to bring your own furnishing, but they were nice enough to let her use the furnishings that were already there free of charge.

I visited for my mother. If my mother continues to be unhappy at the other facility, this is the one that I would strongly consider. It was a very nice facility. They were undergoing some renovations when we went by there, but it was a very nice place. I like their activities director, and I like the layout of it. The rooms were not quite as new. This place has been around a long time.
