My cousin moved into The Pines at Bluffton Assisted Living & Memory Care. It's a small studio, but it's got a patio, and it seems to be working out fine. I have tried their food, it's very good. The facility is lovely, it looks clean, and it's fresh without having a bleached smell. It's really nice.

It was a very family friendly environment. The rooms were extremely small and really don't fit our needs. Also, I haven't totally discounted them, but they're not on top of my list. The staff was excellent: the lady that gave us the tour and the people that we met. They are very people oriented and family oriented. From that perspective, they're excellent. It's older, but it's very clean. It shows its age quite well. The hallways were narrow, but accessible by wheelchairs without any problem. I looked at a dining list, and it looked like they're very flexible at what they provide.

We went here and the staff was very knowledgeable and thorough, and they answered all our questions. It was very clean, they had a lot of activities, and we were very pleased with it. I was very happy with it, and so was my mom. They have a library, a beauty salon, a craft area maybe, and the dining room.

My husband was in here, that's why I am feeling favorable to them. It's a smaller community. I felt they were very caring toward their customers, and the physical presence of the place was appealing. It was clean, there were no odors, and the food was good. I ate with my husband a couple of times. I felt very comfortable for him, which is the reason it would cause me to investigate further if I decided to go in. The staff that I encountered back in memory care was wonderful. They were very dedicated to the residents. I felt they tried to help as much as they could. They were not confrontational. They were very much trying to support them and help them through their day. The ones that I came in contact with were very caring individuals and very interested in what they were doing. They did very well with meals. I felt that they paid attention to dietary needs, and they provided a very well-rounded meal, and it tasted good, too. Overall, it was kept very clean and organized. They had days when they fell short a little bit, but not enough that it would present a problem. I just think when you have a relative or someone in a facility like that, you expect excellence all the way around, and I think they just fell short a couple of times, but not enough to rate them low. They had activities every afternoon, they'd have crafts, people came in and read to the residents, and they had an outing at least once a week. I felt they tried to take as good a care of the people as they could.

Impressed with personnels, Miss Arlene and Miss Netta. Very caring for my mother. Remembered all the family names and made us feel welcomed. Gives us a comforting feeling as to the care of our loved one.

It was an excellent facility that I would use absolutely. It was inviting. I would recommend it highly. The apartments were in good sizes, and there were choices of floor plans. It was a very nice and clean facility. The clientele were engaged.

I was able to visit, and overall it was a good place. Their staff seemed nice and knowledgable. Their food was good. You sit down in their dining room, and they bring you what is on the menu. Their value seemed good for the area.

I saw it for my husband. Nothing really stood out, but the person that showed me the facility was very nice, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. It is across from a grocery store and restaurants.

When I visited, they were wonderful, and the person that showed me around was very helpful and had been in contact a number of times to see if there was anything that they could do to assist me in making a decision. It was furnished very nicely. It seemed to have a lot of different activities for people to do and some very nice common areas. They were very pleasant and helpful.

It was beautiful. They just won a huge award. It was professionally decorated. The people were very nice, and when I called back, they were sold out. I used to do a lot of decorating, and the biggest thing I noticed is that it had been professionally decorated, very tasteful.

I have no problem with it. I talked to them on the telephone and they basically answered all the questions I had. I used to be an administrator so I know what to look for. The place is really homey and nice. They just need to maintain the same level of care and services they have now.

I entered this cozy establishment to hear the cheers of residents playing "Pirates Booty Bingo". The staff were all engaged in the fun, and dressed as authentic pirates. We were greeted warmly, and invited to join in. The Administrator who was also dressed, bent down to look directly into the eyes of those in wheelchairs. The atmosphere was clean, and inviting. We passed the library to hear the soft coos of Diamond Doves, who I later found out were named "Chi Chi" and "Tyler" by the residents. The halls were easy to navigate, and I especially liked the fact that I didn't see people (both staff and residents), just sitting around in them. All in all, I was very pleased.
