I visited my friend at Bloom at Belfair. The place is beautiful and really clean. She invited me to have lunch with her and it was delicious. I had a lot of choices to choose from. She told me she loves bingo and going on trips. We both believe she made the right decision to make Bloom at Belfair her new home.

My father will be moving into Bloom at Belfair. It's a very nice place. We like that. They've got very good people. We like the offerings of the place. It looks like it's going to fit my father's needs very well. They've got lots of different things going on. They have transportation, snacks, and meals. The best thing about it is you pay one price and there are very few incidentals after that beyond your medical and stuff. The meal preparation is a big deal, the house cleaning, and the fact that there's going to be someone there onsite 24/7 if something happens.

Bloom at Belfair was very clean. It was a Saturday, so I didn't see a lot of the staff, but they looked to be very organized and very attentive. They answered my questions, provided information, and followed up with me. So, everything that I could see was really nice about that facility.

I am currently staying at Bloom at Belfair. The rooms are very decent, the place is very clean and it's very safe. But for the meals, you only have one choice each time, and you only have half an hour to be there to get the food. That's a very short time. Most of them have showers and no baths, and you can't cook in your room because there's no stove. I feel very safe where I am, but it really should be better. They've been understaffed, and a lot of the people there have been complaining because of that. The staff's attitude is very nice, it's just that they don't seem so efficient and they don't have too many people there. They have one server for the meals for everyone, and it takes quite a while. They advertise that they have a few choices, but the meals are one choice. And you'd have to be here at 15 minutes to 8:00 till about 15 mins after 8:00, and then you have to be there at 11:45 till about 12:15 after. And then for dinner, there's not much time for an alternative time. There are not many activities, they have bingo, they have a happy hour once a week and they have a few other activities. I think it's one of the cheapest places here at minus $600 a month to a studio apartment. I suppose the other places are more expensive, so I would suppose we get our money's worth. But if I had more money, I'd rather pay more to be in a better place. I don't feel that the food is nutritionally as good as it should be. So you get a carb or starch, and the vegetable and meat. And then at dinnertime, mostly you get a half of a sandwich, and then you can ask for a whole sandwich, but then you don't get a vegetable. And then breakfast, you get more choices. I like that it's at the center of town, it's close to things, it's safe and clean.

I toured Bloom at Belfair, and I was rather embarrassed because they had no idea that I had a tour scheduled. It was a little awkward, but they managed to fit me in. The facility was excellent. It was large, it was spacious, and it had all types of areas where the residents could gather to visit one on one or a couple of people at a time. They had a big rotunda or a circular area that had all the things they needed, like a barber shop, an ice-cream shop, a coffee shop, and a TV room, so they didn't have to go anywhere else. That was really nice. The person who gave us the tour was lovely and a very nice young woman too.

I went to Bloom at Belfair. The staff members were excellent. The building needed to be updated. However, I don't want to put my mom through that again. My mom had just come out of a ten year residency at another place and two years of renovation, so when they were describing that they needed to update that and that was on the plans, I just thought that this wasn't going to work. Also you couldn't get outside from the room. The rooms were just average. They needed new carpet in the common areas. They needed some updating. They sent me home with a pie, which was a nice gesture; it was excellent. However, they really needed to get some of the updating done in the common areas.

My mother is a new resident at Bloom of Belfair. She had only been there for three weeks when hurricane Dorian came knocking. The evacuation process for the residents went very smoothly. Being my mother was in a new state/city, I lived local and was on vacation and this was her first evacuation the whole situation was pretty stressful! The staff at Bloom stepped up and helped her in any way they could. They even called me to clarify medications. The communication with emails and phone calls from the staff and owners was outstanding. Our family is very grateful that in a tough situation everything was handled well and we knew she was in good hands. We couldn’t be happier with the choice we made for a new home for our mother.

My friend has her mother at Bloom at Belfair and it is an absolute exceptional place for her. She is always raving about the food, fun activities, and complementing the staff. Every time I have been there, I see nothing but smiles. To know her mother is content makes my friend so happy...I can't say enough about this community.

My mom is on the Memory Care side and I cannot be happier with how the staff is taking care of her. She loves the food and they have a lot of activities for her to do. I am glad this is not a place where they are just sitting around doing nothing. She wasn't too engaged in anything before we moved her there and we were concerned how she is going to do, but she loves going out on trips and listening to the entertainers who come to see them. They even have representatives from churches visit to do service. I am super happy with my decision and thankful for the staff to make everything so easy for me.

We are so pleased with Bloom! The facility is absolutely beautiful, and immaculately clean. There are lots of activities, outings, etc. Everything you could possibly need is available on site, which we love. My mom is in Independent Living now, but we like that memory care is going to be available when she needs it.

We recently moved our mom from PA to Bloom at Belfair. After a few months of her being there I can truly say she has thrived! The management and staff have made the transition such a wonderful experience. My mom loves the staff, food and the variety of activities. She went from sitting in front of a TV all day to now having her days filled with friends and socialization. We are so happy with our decision. Thank you Bloom At Belfair!

From my observation, Bloom is a very good place for people who need this kind of care. The workers are very kind and helpful, to visitors as well as residents. Some residents can be difficult at times, but Ive not seen anyone mistreated in any way.

My father had to suddenly leave his home of 30 years because of a sudden health incident while visiting me out of state. After his hospitalization and almost 3 months living with me, he was looking for a place of his own because he knew sadly that he could not return to his home and wanted his space. I gathered a list of places to visit, Bloom at Belfair was our first one on the list. After visiting the facility, having a nice lunch, and talking with Eric F. the director, we came home to talk about our visit. My dad did not want to look anywhere else, and felt that this was the place for him. His apartment meets his needs perfectly, is compact, extremely clean and bright and is very homey as well. The entire facility is so clean, cheery and staffed with wonderful people. My dad feels secure, they treat him wonderfully, and I could not be happier because I know he is well taken care of. When I come to visit, everyone is friendly and knows who I am, Tricia greets me with a smile and watches over my dad and helps him with questions, as I have seen her do with many others. He is in the best place possible and I know he is safe. It is always hard to begin another chapter with a parent, but, other than his house, I feel blessed to have visited Bloom at Belfair first. You will not be disappointed!

We chose Bloom at Belfair for my mom because of the quick response from the director with him answering all the questions and making the process really smooth and easy. He also knew every resident by name and what they were up to, so I was impressed with that. Every afternoon, they'd have an entertainer or performer come in, or a happy hour. They also immediately got my mom set up with a table of people to have lunch and dinner with and she made a bunch of new friends. They had a great meal selection.

The staff members at Bloom at Belfair are absolutely great, especially the serving staff in the dining room. We're going on a shopping trip to Walmart tomorrow. On Friday nights we have wine, there's Bingo, exercises in the morning three times a week, and so on.

I visited the independent living of Bloom at Belfair. The appearance was nice, but the rooms were small. The person we spoke to was disinterested, but they gave us a delicious apple pie. The dining room was sufficient, and the food was fine.

Bloom at Belfair was nice, but the rooms were inconsistent. The hallways and the facility itself were lovely. The pricing was competitive, and the staff was friendly.

Bloom at Belfair was lovely and very good. The girl, Susan, who gave us the tour was excellent. The dining area was great, but the rooms were on the small side and there wasn't a whole lot of closet space. It was very clean and every person we met was very friendly. It seemed to have a lively atmosphere.

Recently made our third visit trying to finalize plans for Mom to move into assisted living. Each time they had a new administratior and managers so that was a red flag to us. Talked to a daughter who was visiting her Mom in the memory care. She said the Director who developed the program is in Beaufort now and while it is clean and the "stores" look good, they are not used with a program like they were in the beginning - sadly it is just for show. There were no activities happening for two of our three visits. Outings are very limited for memory care people. Meeting this family and seeing for ourselves that they are not doing what they say they are for their patients which makes me question the integrity of care our Mom would receive. We decided on moving Mom to Beaufort more because the daughter we spoke with was dissatisfied and planned to move her Mom out

The people at Bloom at Belfair were really nice and cooperative. It's a nice place, and they're very friendly people. The rooms are typical, and they have activities and other benefits. It looks like a decent place and is as good as any.

I “kidnapped” my mom a couple of months ago from Memphis, TN and moved her to Bluffton. Her living conditions were so bad, I literally drove to Memphis and packed her and a suitcase and drove back to Bluffton. I visited a few places and Belfair was last to see and first on my list after visiting all on our list. Mom moved in the next week and I cannot tell you how wonderful Tiffany and the staff have been. The first 3 weeks were very difficult. Moving from your home of 40 years and being placed somewhere that you know no one. She was sad and stayed in her room, but she was encouraged to get out and slowly but surely she started getting involved in a few things. Tiffany made us feel welcome and has been very accommodating letting us borrow furniture until hers gets here next week. We connected from the beginning and I am so glad to know that she is an important part of the Bloom team. Everyone has gone above and beyond. Dr. Chambers came to her room the first week as mom couldn’t leave her room, the Physical therapists have gone above and beyond to help her with her legs. Mom told me last night that she knows this is best for her and she has never had anyone work so hard with her to get her moving again. The staff in the dining room call her by name. We all love to hear our name, and I am sure they have lots to remember. Thank you for doing all that you all do. This has been one of the hardest events of my life, much less for my mother, but has turned into such a positive experience for us all. The best part if my mother looks so much happier, and I know she is safe, fed and cared for. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My wife is in Bloom at Belfair. It's very clean, and the food is good. They're taking good care of her and treating her very well. I'm very happy. They got her stabilized, and she is doing quite well. The nurse is great. I certainly would recommend the place.
