My Husband was here for 3 weeks for Rehab . . . the Staff here just adored him! My Husband loved them just as much! My Husband was in another facility in Lancaster several times for Rehab. That facility was so bad that it made me quite ill at heart to be putting my Hubby in a nursing home once again even if it was just for Rehab. When I went to visit my Hubby, their were no foul smells like their was in the other nursing home. This was his first time in a room with 3 other men. I must say, they got along very well. I saw that my Hubby became very relaxed in Manor Care. That put me well at ease and because of the interactions with Staff and family (Me ;) ), it changed my view of nursing homes altogether. I am now very much more positive and would like to say that if my Hubby were ever have to be in a Nursing Home permanently, I would ask for him to be added as one of the residents at Manor Care. The Staff is very caring and supportive of both the residents AND their families. I really do appreciate the caring and kindness offered to both of us. They really proved themselves worthy of having my Hubby as a resident their! I'm so glad that they changed my view of what a nursing home is supposed to be like! AND THAT IS A POSITIVE 5 STARS IN EVERY AREA THAT I WILL GIVE THEM! If I could give 1000 stars, I would! Thank You all for your kindness and caring! GOD BLESS YOU ALL! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

Literally the worst place you could place your family member. Don't care attitude , accepts no responsibility for no record keeping, unable to provide information when you call, or refuse to give the phone or messages to family members. My father died a month ago, and we were never notified. They take no action, claim they had no information when he was there for 10 years and I visited and called. Save your money and family from this horrendous place.

Building is falling apart with no maintenance. Food is tasteless. Some of the workers are rude. Would not recommend this place at all.

Manicure to me was a great place for my friend to be he enjoyed it very well he interacted with Daffy and other residents they played did curricular activities even went out in the patio they also went on field trips every now and then staff seemed Pleasant at all times and we're willing to help the building was not up to date it looked like an older building but was very well taken care of and you could tell it was being very well maintained only downside was minimal parking

The staff is friendly it the building is outdated and dumpy. They don't even have an individual TVs for individual residents. In fact speaking of TVs, they are outdated and do not have remotes for the remote controls television sets. The food is not set up some part of family and you can't get anything after 5 PM

This facility housed my mother in law for almost 4 years. They took very good care of her needs throughout her stay and were very good to deal with on paperwork issues. The facility was an older building but they were updating cosmetically during the time of her stay. The biggest negative was parking.....it was very limited.

Everyone at this facility was very helpful and kind. They treated my grandfather very well and were very helpful in any situation. When he passed away the staff was very comforting and a few even came to his funeral. They said that they feel that their patients are family to them and they felt like they had lost a member of their family.

Although I cannot comment as if a resident, from my experience visiting my grandfather, Manor Care appears to be a fine place for the elderly in need of help. My grandfather never complained about be treated poorly and in fact he seemed to take a liking to many of the staff members. There was much space for residents to interact with one another and for the most part, I would say that most of the residents also enjoyed their stay at Manor Care. The staff were also very friendly to visitors and I never felt unwelcome on any visit. If I would have one complaint, it would be that I never saw or heard of many activities that the staff put on for the residents. I understand that most of the residents really weren't capable of a whole lot due to their various conditions, however I am sure that they would have appreciated some type of stimulation other than the radio, televisions, or talking with other residents. Overall, Manor Care seems like a great place.
