Original staff left. New staff unfriendly, sit behind station and look at their phones. I never see them engaging with the residents. Housekeeping awful, I would have to clean the room and bathroom. Medication not given properly. Cook quit food looks awful. Administration seems confused and not sure how to run an assisted living facility. I am glad that I took my family member out of there.

Northland Heights Located in North Hill was extremely new and extremely well-maintained. The staff members were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The residents seemed very happy. The amenities seemed quite nice. It's hard to find any negatives to talk about. We saw a studio unit, which was the smallest, but it was still quite spacious. It came with a very nice furniture set that was included. The bathroom seemed safe and clean. It had a window. Considering the price point and that being the smallest one, it was extremely nice. It was an extremely positive experience.

My overall tour experience at Northland Heights was very positive. I just felt that the community was very friendly, both with the staff and the residents that I met. It seemed to me from meeting some of the residents that it was a place that they enjoyed living in, and that meant a lot to me. The staff members were very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The rooms were very spacious. The one that I toured was a single room, and I felt that it gave them enough space that somebody could feel very comfortable in the unit itself. The common areas were very clean and seemed to be well-used. They had activities like bingo and different recreational things. They offer three meals a day. They would do med management. The facility was very clean. I was very pleased with the facilities.

Northland Heights Located in North Hill is a very beautiful place. It's well-maintained and very clean. Everybody is very helpful. You can just see that they really care about the elderly. They have so much to offer. They have a really nice dining room, a movie theater, an ice cream parlor, a beauty salon, and a community room for activities. It's a really nice place. They're very good and the cost is reasonable. It's close to everything. There's shopping around there. Plus it's set up real nice. They have rocking chairs out there for them. It felt like you're away from the city and being in a country living almost. However, you still can see all the stores down on the highway, so you don't feel like you're isolated.

Northland Heights Located in North Hill was a very nice facility. Everything was brand new. The people there were very accommodating. I got to see pretty much everything, all the facilities that they had available. The rooms were set up nicely. It was a hotel, or had been a hotel, so, the rooms still kind of felt like it was still one. They were clean and renovated with new paint, new carpeting, and everything. You still could tell it had been a hotel in the past. They have rooms for games and gatherings. They have a room set up to teach computer skills, which could also be used to have Zoom meetings with family members or whomever. They have a beautiful eating area. Every floor has its own nurses' station, except for the upper floors. There were more apartments. They were fantastic, everyone that I had met. Everything's brand new. They didn't even have all the floors completed at the time; they were still renovating.

Northland Heights Located in North Hill is fairly new. One thing about the place, it used to be a hotel at one time, and they've converted. It's got all-new flooring. The walls were all painted. Everything looks very, very nice. I've seen some of the assisted living folks around on the first floor. They seem to be doing pretty well. In the memory care unit, we went up to and did a tour. They showed us the dining area. They have a little patio outside that people go to in nice weather. they have really nice rooms. They're all furnished, so they have areas for activities. It's a pretty nice place. Mary is the one that gave us a tour, and she did a great job. I was impressed. Overall, it's pretty nice. It's really well done inside, and they got two levels of parking and stuff. So, that's not too bad; It makes it easier.

Out of all the communities I toured in the North Hills Northland Heights was the best. The rooms I was shown were beautifully decorated, the facility was spotless (no urine smell!!) and the entire staff from the Administrator to the nursing staff were warm and welcoming. You can tell when talking to everybody just how much they care. Prices were very reasonable and they offered 24/7 activities which I really appreciate. I was going to admit here but unfortunately my mom passed shortly after I toured, however if you are looking for a place where your parent will be taken care of I highly recommend this place. It has everything you could want.

Northland Heights did not have as many clients when we visited. They only had twelve clients at that time, so we were hesitant about that. We thought, "What if the client's number doesn't increase? Is the facility still gonna be there?" We were pleased with everything there (other than those thoughts that if it doesn't get more residents, they won't be able to keep it financially). The facility's parking lot adjoins a school in which they have first grade or second grade kids that are pen pals with the residents there. They were just up the hill from the shopping centers. If somebody was in independent living, you just go down the bottom of the hill and there is all the shopping you could want. They had a van too, so I guess they could shuttle you down the hill so residents don't have to walk down the hill. The rooms were nice. They were furnished, and everything there was good. I think they had a small area with a sink and cupboards, so they could have breakfast or lunch type of non-perishables if they can afford it. They had activities as well.
