My husband is at Sterling Health Care and Rehab Center and they have been very good so far. They're notifying us of every change and everything, and so they're very informative. They keep you updated on what's going on there, and that's very helpful. I've only been allowed to go as far as the lobby with the COVID, but the place seems to be very clean. Someone contacted me yesterday that they have a COVID case there now, so they're cutting back on visitation. So, they've been very good at keeping you updated on what's going on as far as COVID. They have haircut services, but they said at this time they're not letting those types of services go on because of the COVID, however, as soon as they're available, they will let us know. For now, the physical therapists are just trying to get him up so he can have some activities outside of his room.

I don’t have anything good to say unfortunately. Unfortunately my mother is a resident there during Covid. You would think they would try their best to make it a great experience since the residents cannot have visitors and are doing no activities. For the most part, my opinion is that most of the staff is there for a paycheck only. My mother says they are ignorant. Have no time to be pleasant. She doesn’t understand how they can be such unpleasant people. She speaks highly of one person only! THAT in itself is sad!! I want to get her out of there so bad but unfortunately that is not an easy task. I do not recommend this place for elderly who WANT to thrive.

The floor smells of urine! The place is dirty, the bedspread in shreds. While the nurses aid was caring and helped out so much, thank you Teresa, the place needs an overhall. The staff is friendly and tries to help!

Completely happy with the care my mom receives. It's a very hard job these people have.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. I am a friend of someone who is there temporarily "supposedly" receiving rehab. The administration is only concerned with getting paid, the staff doesn't know what they are doing and should be properly trained. They are rude and inconsiderate. Place looks great on the outside, you walk in and it is dirty, smelly and sad. Takes forever for staff to respond to a request for medicine. Never would recommend this place to anyone and I feel sad for those who are put there.

I have my mother in Sterling Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. There is not much to say about the appearance, a nursing home is a nursing home. They could improve on the size of their rooms though. I actually didn't have much choice in terms of choosing other facilities because her Blue Cross and Blue Shield was cutting off certain days and I have to get her out of one nursing home that would not accept Medicaid and get her into another one. However, their staff is very nice. They take care of my mother and that's all that I can ask for.

Never again! The smell of feces and those visibly sitting in diapers made me decide that this was not the place for my mother!! Disgusted!
