I had an in-person tour of Penn Hall at Menno-Haven. The staff members were very caring. It's close to home. They have activities. They keep the residents busy. They play cards. This is the nicest nursing home in Chambersburg. It's like walking into a fine hotel. They have activities going on all day. The meals are wonderful. Always cleans and smells wonderful. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

Penn Hall is a most beautiful and caring facility for the elderly. They have cottages to a nursing home right on the premisises. You are evaluated and can start at the cottages and then to assistive living and finally to the nursing home ffacility. My grandmother's experience with the Penn Hall facility has been very positive. Her health is declining, but she remains very active in social groups and the community, and living at Penn Hall has allowed her to maintain her independence and still have help readily available should she need it. Visited this home several times in a professional capacity. It was always very neat clean and the residents were very happy. I spoke to one lady who lived here and she said that the residents for the most part were very nice and she felt like she was at home. They are very sensitive to the needs of the aging population but at the same time respected their independence. The staff I encountered here were friendly and helpful.
