I was a rehab patient here. The nurses, nurses aids and physical therapists did an outstanding job. The facility is kept very clean thanks to the housekeeping department. The kitchen is what puts this place over the top. Outstanding job in the kitchen! I would recommend this rehab to anyone in search of great care. THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!!

Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community was very small and they didn't have a lot to offer. It was more focused on assisted living and continuing care. They had an independent living community, but it didn't seem to be very big. And it didn't seem like they were focused on providing many cultural activities. They had a gym, a pool, and one restaurant, and that's pretty much it. A couple of times in the summer, they have a concert. The staff was very nice and exceptionally pleasant.

I like Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community because they had a single cottage, and accepted dogs. The staff who gave the tour was very considerate and very helpful. They have everything you want, including a gym, a pool, a snack bar, and social things. The courtyard and dining area were nice. The cleanliness is really good, it's top. Plus the size of the apartment was adequate.

We have found Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community for my father. His apartment is nice and a little small, but the location is very good. All the amenities are right there. They've got walking trails, they keep birdfeeders out the windows, the cable is pretty good, and the food is pretty good.

Cumberland Crossings is in the Carlisle area so I like that it's close to my local physicians and medical people. They have a flexible meal plan where you don't have to have every meal in the dining room, but you get 20 meals a month. It has nice cottages, but everything is expensive. They have a pool and they have a program where you can sign up for bus trips to go to meals and things like that.

Cumberland Crossings has been very good so far. Mom is sharing a room and she is in the nursing care. The food is decent. The staff is very good overall. Maybe they can improve on their communication with the family members of their residents.

I really liked Cumberland Crossings. It was one of the three that we ended up thinking that could be a good place for mother in law. They gave us a nice tour of the place. It was very nice, clean, and pleasant. One gentleman told us he’d been to many nursing homes and this was the best. The staff was nice.

We saw older people exercising in a room at Cumberland Crossings, while others were sitting and reading books in a family living room. They had a swimming pool. They don’t have enough staff member for all of the residents that are getting older, but they tried their best with the number of people they had to work with.

Cumberland Crossings was very nice, but they didn?t have any occupancies nor a memory care unit. They have skilled nursing and regular assisted living or personal care. It was the most expensive of all the place I saw, and it was closer to where my parents live in Carlisle. It was very clean and very bright. The lady that I spoke with was very nice, very helpful, and answered my questions.

Dear Anonymous 115987150, Thank you for taking the time to post feedback from your recent visit to Cumberland Crossings. I hope and trust you found a community that was able to provide the care your parents are in need of since we weren't able to accomodate them at the time.

It was a community with separate homes. They had a nursing home and health assistance to people to needed something less than a nursing home. The staff was helpful. It was not crowded. It had lots of spaces between the facilities. They also had different activities.

My Aunt gets her care there, but I do wish she got more exercise, but I do understand its hard when someone is not only wheelchair bound, but mentally handicapped. She has access to vending machines where she over-indulges, but I guess for someone her age they should let them be happy. She's always clean, and the staff personally engages with her and know all about her.

This facility seems to be a good one. My great aunt is happy. The staff I have met are friendly and helpful. They are usually able to tell me able my aunt's likes and dislikes as well as what her days are like. There are activities for the residents to participate in. The ALF portion of the building is clean, quiet and well cared for. I personally don't care for the cats that they have but some people probably really love them. The skilled side is more hospital like and while it seems clean, it is often smelly. The staff on both sides are very accommodating and as long as you are specific about needs or requests they seem to be willing to honor them. Overall, this is a great place for your loved one. My aunt has been here nearly 20 years. There have been very few incidents over this time. She has made friends with the staff and residents and Cumberland Crossings seems to have been the right choice for her.
