My mom moved to Holy Family Senior Living. They are wonderful, very communicative, very nice, friendly, and caring, and I would highly recommend them. They do what they say they're gonna do. The place smells fine. I haven't had any issues with that. She's very happy with the food. The facility is clean.

My husband was there for rehab. Lack of communication. He fell there. I was told he was all right and when I went there he was not. Nurse had no idea of what he was like when he went there.I had him taken to the hospital via ambulance and then admitted to another facility.

My mom was at Holy Family, where she was for her rehab. We were very happy with the service there. The nurses were pretty attentive to her, and they were nice. I think she liked the fact that she could socialize with some of the other people. They had a nice sunroom. She could go out on the patio, and she enjoyed that. The nurses and the aides were all very helpful and nice. As far as the social worker, we were happy with her, too. She responded to me and called me back if I had questions. She was in a shared room, but most of the time that she was there, she was by herself. She did for a short time, have a roommate, and that was a little rough. They have like an activities person come. She talked to my mom, and my mom enjoyed that, being talked to. It was pretty basic, as far as activities go. They had some low-key activities.

My mom was at Holy Family Senior Living. She was there for maybe 15 or 16 days. She went through physical therapy. The food was good. The care was a little bit lax only because of how backed up they were, and they just didn't have the help. As for the food, I was eating some of her food. They didn't have a facility for visitors to eat yet, they haven't gotten that up and running yet, but from what she was eating, it was pretty good. The staff were very friendly. Because she was in rehab, I didn't see any entertainment there. All I know is what they were feeding her and the care that the nurses gave her. It was just a small facility, and it wasn't that big, but it was neat and clean. That was all paid by Medicare.
