I feel so blessed to have found this home for my Ex Husband. The staff is so caring, kind and capable. They also communicate very well with family and notify us timely of any situation. During Covid, they have kept us informed not only of our loved one but also how the home is responding to all additional care related issues. I have no worries that they are handling this challenging time with wonderful care and grace. The atmosphere is always positive and happy. I'm Thankful everyday that he is in their care.

I checked on The Cottages Senior Living yesterday. They currently have no availability at the moment. The tour was nice though. Everything seemed comfortable and secure. The building itself was fine.

The staff at The Cottages Senior Living was amazing. They answered all my questions, and I was able to ask them questions. They were right on top of everything. They treat the residents very well. The place was very clean. There was a lot of attention to detail. We were looking to put my father in a shared room because we didn't want him to be by himself. He would have to provide the bed and the dresser. He would need to bring his own towels or whatever he would need. Everything was so nice with these people, and I don't think it's an act or anything. I think that they really care. They had a board game out. The residents were playing something. They were on top on their game there. It was all fenced in. They had a garden area, where they could go out, sit in the sunshine, and have a cup of tea. The dining area was very nice and immaculate. They provide transportation to the residents to go shopping, on little trips, or just to get them out of the building. They take them to doctors' appointments or whatever they want to do. Everything was locked.

The staff at every level are pleasant, helpful and caring with intent and dedication to provide a safe, healthy and positive environment for your loved one, including devoting time and attention to family's requests/concerns to enhance an all-around Best experience. Mom loves the meals, her room is cozy with plenty of room for her favorite belongings, the facility's layout is well designed with room privacy, spacious courtyards, comfortable common-area furniture, and social dining rooms. They do a great job in their community at a competitive price. I recommend them!

This is a wonderful place for my 93 year old mother. Her room, with private bath, looks out onto a courtyard with rose bushes, bird feeders and a gazebo. The staff are exceptional and have gone to great lengths to keep us connected in the Coronavirus era. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a secure, but comfortable and welcoming, memory care facility.

Every interaction i have had from the director and head nurse down to all the front line care givers has been excellent. These jobs are no piece of cake especially during this pandemic. The resident doctor is superb in his explanations when things need attending. There is no other place i would want my mom to be.

I was coming with my friend Ann, to visit Larry. I am so impressed with your staff, the atmosphere and care you give. Larry seem calm, and for that we are grateful. One special touch is your cookies at the front desk. It sometimes hard to see your loved ones as they are...but that little kind touch, gives a boost and a smile. I was there last Sunday and you were serving the most amazing lemon/white chocolate cookies. My father in laws birthday is coming up, and he’ll be 90. He’s is fortunate not to need care...but would LOVE these cookies. Might I be so bold as to ask for the recipe? Once again, special thanks for taking care, not only of Larry but of my friend as well. Your kindness is so appreciated. Thank you! Kris Clarke

I didn't like the way it was arranged. They had little communities within the building and they were locked up in a big room like a cafeteria. Their bedrooms were off and it was confusing and very hard to get where you were going. It just turned me off.

Tami S., Resident Services Director, has done an excellent job ever since she started here! The difficulties we have had at times getting communication sorted out about moms care have been so much improved and we really appreciate how helpful she has been and has gone out of her way to help us deal with the emotional side of moms decline. Thank you.

My father is now living here. I think that they are doing that they are required to do. The staff that I have interacted with has been pretty helpful and kind. The rooms are fine compared to other memory care facilities that I have visited and small but not as small as others. I think that they are very basic and seemed to maintain cleanliness well. The food was not what I would want to eat every day because it's kind of bland. One of the things that I really like about it is that they have a long, wide hallway with doors on either side that go into separate cottages where there are a dozen private rooms around a very nicely-appointed communal living room with a big-screen TV, a couple of couches, terraces to sit near other people and read. They have a dining area and a kitchen. It's a very nice setup and put residents into a cottage based on the level of dementia and how advanced it is; they try to keep people of the same general level in the same cottage.
