My father has moved into Gilman Park Assisted Living. We chose it because the location is closer between my brother and me. I like that the residents and staff all appear to be having a good time when I'm there. Everybody seems to be in good spirits. Nobody is depressed or anything like that. The communication could probably use some improvement. I have had to reach out a couple of times to address some concerns, but they have always addressed any concern when I communicated it. I have tasted the food and I think it's great. My dad does not like it, but everything that I have had and the variety of food has been great. I have not observed activities, but I know that they have them. My dad has just not been interested in taking part in any of them. I would recommend them. I had no problems with it. The staff has been great, and the food has been good.

I went to The Lodge at Vista View. They're right in the middle of a renovation right now. They're waiting on new carpeting and the room that we were thinking about was just remodeled. The cleanliness of the community seemed good. That was one of the things we were looking at. The staff was very helpful.

I was able to view Gilman Park Assisted Living, and the tour was nice. The facility was dated, it's very old, and that's what kinda scared me away from it. It could use some remodeling. It was a few hundred dollars cheaper than the other ones, but it wasn't worth the money from what I saw. The person who assisted me was great, he was very nice, answered my questions, showed me around, and gave me a nice tour. We looked at two rooms there, but he couldn't show me the dining room because it was closed down because they had a COVID scare at the time. He also showed me outside; they have a courtyard with a garden at the center. Their rooms were bigger than the room where my mom is now in, but they're again older and needed updating. They had an art room and a gardening center.

I went to Gilman Park Assisted Living. It was good. It was adequate and it was clean. The staff seemed to be very knowledgeable. They were very friendly and very willing to get to know you and find out what needs you have. They put out a list of activities for the month. They also have a weekly reminder list of all the activities that they have set up for the people there.

I am at Gilman Park Assisted Living, and the staff here is very nice. The facility is adequate, and the meals are OK -- that is, apart from the entrée, most of the time they were not really good. It's fair, but it's not number one. I am in a one-bedroom and it's not really big, but it's adequate. They clean the apartment once a week, and that comes with the rent. It's comfortable too. We don't have that many amenities here, but they have bingo, they have church services for those who want to attend on Sundays, and there's a bus that goes to town every once in a while.

My sister-in-law has been a resident of Gilman Park Assisted Living for 11 months now. It's been a good experience. They're taking good care of her and they monitor her. We have no complaints. They've been very good. She's in a 1-bedroom apartment, but they have a variety like studios, and 1- and 2-bedrooms. They have amenities, but we're not using them. My sister-in-law isn't interested in using anything like an exercise room or anything like that. They have exercise, recreation room, meeting rooms, and a separate dining place.

My husband just moved into Gilman Park Assisted Living. Everything seems to be going pretty good. They were gonna transfer him at one point to another room, to a studio, and that took a little longer than what we expected, but they had some other people to move him in. I think they're pretty good. I didn't get to go into the facility because everything was shut down, but we talked, and she showed me a sketching of the rooms that they had, and then she walked me around. I could look in the window and see the room, and we went outside. She also told me that there were hummingbirds around. So I brought a stake, and they put that up in front of the window, and I brought up a hummingbird feeder, and they filled it and put it up, so he could watch the hummingbirds; I thought that was so sweet. The food is fine. He hasn't complained a bit, and he loves food. They even allow pets after this opens up, but they do have some restrictions, so I can take our dog up there too, so that's a plus. They do have activities. They have bingo and exercises. I think it's a little expensive, that my husband needs extra care, so I have to pay extra for that, and it's quite a bit.

I visited Gilman Park for my parents. It is a nice place. They have nice dining room and a nice staff. The drawback for my mother is that it was like a hospital when you look into the parking lot. We had lunch there, and everything was fine. It was also a lot bigger than the other place we visited. The staff members were very friendly. They have rooms for activities.

The main thing that my aunt and uncle like about Gilman Park is that the staff is very friendly and very helpful. The room they ended up with is very nice with fresh carpet. They provide good meals for them and provide a lot of care. They are happy there now. There are activities lined up, like exercise classes, bingo, and baking classes. All of them are voluntary.

I am in Gilman Park. Everything about it is great. It is very pleasant. The people are pleasant. It is a great and fabulous place. I will most definitely recommend it to others. I think they can improve on the staff by giving more attention, but other than that, I have no qualms whatsoever. The food is great, and they pay attention to if you don't like it; they go about and work it out to make it acceptable to everybody. My room is great. They keep it clean. They empty the garbage 2 to 3 times a day. You can't ask anything better than that.
