The Springs at Greer Gardens was a very nice place. I liked it. It's one of the newest as well. I have a friend that lives there, so I've visited there many times and joined him for supper or lunch or just a visit. It's a little expensive but what you're getting is a lot for the money you're paying. It is one of the nicest places I have ever seen.

The Springs at Greer Gardens is a lovely facility. I took a tour before the day that I was there for a book club meeting, so I saw what was available. I know that you get your meals downstairs. You are in your room by yourself, but if you needed help, you could call for it. Everyone was excellent. The dining area was lovely. When I was there for the book club meeting, we had a special room that about six or seven of us were in, but we passed the dining area as we went there. It's a lovely open space with different tables and excellent food. They had a pool and exercise classes. The grounds were lovely. It used to be a garden center.

I went to The Springs at Greer Gardens to see a friend of mine. It's very clean, very well kept up, and very modern. I go there for dinner once a week, and it is a nice place, but it's nothing that I could afford. It was very expensive. It's like over $6,000 a month. It's fairly new, so it's beautiful and looks very pleasant. The cottages are really cute and well-designed. They have a bar, a restaurant, a theater, and just about anything you'd want. It's well-equipped for those who can afford it. The food is OK. It's got a nice area to go for a walk. It's connected to the former Greer Garden, which is a rhododendron garden, so there are nice trails and walking areas. It's in a safe neighborhood. It's gated. One thing I don't like about it is the fact that they have a lot of waiters/servers that work hard, but the residents aren't allowed to tip them. If they tip them, it goes into one community jar and then they give out the total of the tips at Christmas. However, most of these kids that are working there are college students and they won't be around at Christmas. So, we thought it was unfair that they weren't allowed to tip the help, especially when they deserved it and needed some encouragement.

The Springs at Greer Gardens was like a resort. They had a little coffee bar, a snack bar, and outdoor seating. There's two different wings. Each had its own recreation rooms, dining rooms, rooms where you can go play cards, and other kinds of facilities. It's very nice. They even had a pool, a small gymnasium, and transportation available. We would go visit there and have lunch with my friend. The food was just excellent. The staff was very nice, too.
