Mom moved to Aspen Ridge Retirement Community. She liked the sense of community. She liked the location. She liked some of their staff. They knew her and they were very welcoming. The layout and meal were fine. They offered fitness classes, outings and crafts, and movies daily. Happy hour. They have non-denominational church services. They offer a lot of opportunities for the residents to mingle.
What you can do with Caring
About Aspen Ridge Premier Retirement & Assisted Living in Bend, Oregon
Aspen Ridge Retirement Community is an Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care community that provides exceptional person-centered holistic care to residents. Whether your loved one needs help with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) or simply wants to enjoy the company of fellow seniors in a great location, our team can help. When your loved one moves in, theyll see the difference for themselves on day one. Our Welcoming Committee will make them feel right at home with community introductions and regular check-ins.
Independent living means you or your loved one can complete many everyday activities of daily living, but prefer access to a broader social community. When you enroll in an independent living program at one of our senior living communities, you gain access to a network of other people similar to you ? fellow independent seniors who enjoy the company of new friends and exciting social activities. It isnt all that different from living in your own place. You still have your own private room, have access to common areas, and have your meals in the dining room. For the most part, residents remain autonomous during their stay. The key difference is you have access to a community of other residents, and some essential care services should the need arise.
Our wellness services are robust. They include everything from convenient access to skilled nursing care to activities of daily living (ADLs) ? whatever is necessary to maintain a safe and secure living environment. But not all residents are the same. The right Frontier Management senior living community can tailor their services to fit your loved ones individual care needs. That includes anything that makes life easier, such as:
- Laundry services & Housekeeping
- Personal Care Services
- Medication management
- Recreational activities
- And much more
Most importantly, our staff focuses on increasing and maintaining quality of life as much as possible. Were 100% committed to this. Our staff ensures each resident receives round-the-clock attention and hands-on continuing care as well as routine access to vibrant social events.
Memory Care is a specialized level of care that focuses specifically on older adults with Alzheimers, Dementia, or other memory-related illnesses. Residents live onsite in an assisted living community where they have 24-hour access to a wide range of care options. Whether they need routine access to healthcare professionals, help to complete day-to-day activities like bathing and transferring, or both, they are taken care of in a memory care community.

We went to Aspen Ridge Premier Retirement & Assisted Living. It was nice, a little outdated, and on the smaller side. The person who accommodated us on the tour was very helpful, educated, and knowledgeable. She's been in the industry for a long time. There's a whole lot of stuff that they offer. The one that stuck out to us that we liked was they had their own hair salon. They have guest lecturers for continuing education, which is cool and something that we would like. They have a special person that comes to do pedicures for foot health and stuff like that, which is good for people with diabetes.

Aspen Ridge Premier Retirement & Assisted Living was dated, but it was very nice. It had a center courtyard where they could grow their own vegetables and that kind of stuff. The young woman who showed us around was very knowledgeable, very helpful, polite, and very nice to my sister. It could not have been done better. The facilities were nice and the activities were nice. Everything was perfect. The apartment was nice. We looked at a 1-bedroom and it had everything that one would need. She would be able to use her own furniture and it had a little balcony. There was a stove and a refrigerator in there. They had several different food options that they could get, like a hot meal or a sandwich. They had a soup and salad bar. It seemed like they had fruits and juice all the time.

Aspen Ridge Premier Retirement & Assisted Living was very friendly, very responsive, accommodating, and professional. They answered all our questions. It's a very clean and nicely decorated facility. We spoke with some of the residents and they seemed happy with where they are. The food was good. I was very pleasantly surprised. We were looking at one bedroom, and they're adequate. We thought it was perfect. There's lots of activities. There's arts and crafts and exercise programs on site. They also will take you to a senior center which is here in town. A lot of the residents will kind of spearhead something that they might like, because one of the residents was very much in the book, so she started a book club. Then there's bible study. It's just a little bit older. They will be renovating, but it could use some updating.

My aunt really liked Aspen Ridge Premier Retirement & Assisted Living, but she decided she didn't want to spend the money now. I liked the fact that the 2-bedroom was quite spacious. The staff was very nice. Everybody was very helpful and very friendly. The separate cottages were really nice. The living room had a vaulted ceiling, and it had a fireplace. It had two bedrooms and a garage. It had a very reasonable price and a very pretty setting. We looked at the laundry room, and that was very nice. It had two separate rooms. While you're doing your laundry, you could sit and watch TV. They had an ironing board there, too. I thought the carpeting in the hallway could have been replaced. You could go from independent living to assisted living and to memory care, all in one facility.

The thing that's nice at Aspen Ridge Premier Retirement & Assisted Living is that the apartments, whether they're independent or assisted living, are the same. They're identical. It's very open and the entry part was welcoming. I enjoyed the fact that residents were sitting in the common area and chatting and making use of that space. It looked very comfortable. The staff was very, very helpful and she listened very closely to what we needed, was very knowledgeable about the resources of the community, and answered all of our questions. The dining area was large and pretty spacious. I liked that there was a buffet. The dining facilities for independent and assisted are actually in two different rooms. It was a Saturday, so I think being a weekend, it wasn't the normal set of activities. However, they had a movie that was playing at 2:00. They had Trader Joe's bread and flowers, and residents could take a bouquet to their room. You could tell that quite a few things were going on and they had the daily activities posted in the elevators. I thought that the facility was good. I liked also that there was an operating salon inside.

We chose Aspen Ridge Premier Retirement & Assisted Living for mom. She's already visited that place, and she knew she liked it the first time, and we went again. I like the fact that every unit has its own deck or patio. It has independent living, assisted living, and memory care. She doesn't have to worry about moving to a memory care facility if or when that time arrives. The one-bedroom unit had an open layout and it was decent sized. The bathroom had a medicine cabinet and a sink cabinet. She has plenty of space to store things in because we did go to another place and there was nothing in the bathroom for storage. Daily activities were going on. We did get to sample the food and it was good and had adequate portions. It's horseshoe- shaped, so there's a courtyard that's in the middle and you can go out in the courtyard on either wing, which is nice. They have a hairdresser there, a salon, an exercise room, a game room, and a movie room. If you have family over and want to just have a big get-together, there's a room for that. They have current news every once a week and somebody reads it off, so you don't have to read it yourself, which makes it nice. They had plenty of parking; you wouldn't have a problem finding a place.

Aspen Ridge Premier Retirement & Assisted Living was very good. The rooms were fine and plenty spacious. The staff was good, and the dining room looked fine. It's a little more money than we wanted to spend, but if we have the money it would certainly be number 2 on our list. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and gave a good tour. The rooms were more than adequate. Everything looked good and clean. Their laundry facility was good. It is located in Bend, and it's close to medical facilities.

Aspen Ridge is very nice and very large. I would definitely give the food a 4, but once in a while, it's not the best. Aside from that, there is plenty of coffee and apple juice to drink that's always available in the dining area. They have a nice, large piano in the entrance. It is a large, impressive hall area. They have an elevator and meeting rooms upstairs. Next to the foyer, to one side, they got another large open area for sitting, reading, or meeting with your friends. It is very close to the front area, all wide open, very spacious, and very nice too. The building is great.

My friend chose Aspen Ridge Retirement. They have just about everything, and they are very friendly. They have 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom units, and they also have studios. It’s a very nice place. The food tasted good and was cooked right. It had a little of everything. It had vegetables, starch, some kind of protein, and a little dessert. There was also a salad bar and a soup bar. They have something going on every hour up until 6 or 7 o’clock at night from about 9 in the morning on. I lived there for a while for temporary assistance, and I was very pleased. My mother also lived there.

I like Aspen Ridge Retirement, and it was cheaper compared to others. The place for me felt more open. The location was great because it’s right around the hospital, grocery store, and Alzheimer’s care unit. I really wanted mom to be here with me rather than in New Jersey. The place is also clean, and the staff was good during my visit.

We visited Aspen Ridge, and the experience was good. Everything was fine. Mom thought that the building facility itself was too big, but that was just her personal preference. Everything was presented in a very professional and comforting presentation. We checked the apartments, and they looked very presentable. The staff was very helpful and very informative.

We couldn't afford Aspen Ridge. It's a beautiful facility. They are rated number one in Bend, Oregon. They're just very expensive. The people were nice. I got to look around, but I didn't really get to look at any rooms. It was beautiful. I met the salesperson. They seemed to be businesslike, but nice. They have a lot of activities. Some of the men and women brew beer there, and they have an award-winning brewery. So they're really active in that facility. They also have assisted living. But like I said, the price was a lot more than what we could afford. I didn't get to see any of the rooms. I just got to walk around. It's a beautiful community. There are a lot of activities there, and I think people would enjoy it.

My wife and I recently toured Aspen Ridge in Bend after it was recommended to us by some neighbors. My wife and I own our comfortable home in Bend and are both retired. However, due to her arthritis and some additional health issues, our quality of life has changed drastically in the last few years. We had hoped to live in our home together forever, but caring for her when she needs help has taken a toll on me and our adult children, all of whom have full and busy lives.Aspen Ridge will offer us the chance to remain together and still get needed support for my wife and for me if that time comes. Their staff were warm, friendly and seemed to genuinely empathize with us. Moreover, it really felt like a happy place and a comfortable place. Some retirement communities are decorated to the hilt with gilt and more that make them seem old fashioned and... corny. My wife and I like the classic style at Aspen Ridge, the activities that seem to be going on all the time and most of all, the people. While it will take us a little time to pare down our things and get ready for a move to a cottage or 2 bedroom apartment, it can;t happen fast enough. The folks we met there made us feel so welcome. It helped to alleviate a lot of anxiety. No my wife is talking about hurrying up so we can move there before winter. It's a great place. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a beautiful new home without the worry and hassles of caring for your OWN anymore.
