Hillcrest Senior Center

I visited Hillcrest Senior Center and toured the assisted living. They will monitor you in the shower and help with house cleaning and laundry but I didn't need that yet. I met the administrator. He was very good and wanted me to move in there. He answered all my questions and gave me a tour of an actual room. It had a small kitchenette which is not really for making meals. They had a small fridge, a microwave, and a little sink, and that would be the kitchen. Then there's a living room, a bathroom, and a bedroom. It's pricey and not that pretty. It was clean, but it didn't smell as good as the other facility I visited. It had that urine odor throughout the hallways, and I didn't like that. There was no outside space like a patio off the rooms, so it felt very cave-like.
