The one rating is being very generous. The facility was greatly understaffed. The patient care was horrible and neglectful. One staff member was very unkind. My father was a fall risk & sometimes went to the bathroom unassisted because he could not get anyone to come in his room to help him. The food was horrible & many times cold when it arrived. My great aunt lived at the Apartments at Cedar Hill for several years. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. There were many activities for residents to participate in, such as singing groups and senior athletics. Families were always welcome to visit and share meals. There were decorations for holidays and the common areas were well-kept. The grounds are nice, with lots of tress and gardens. There is outdoor space for enjoyment and activities.
