We have a mother in this facility and they have been exceptional. They have taken time to discuss her care and have done everything that we have requested. They have made sure that we feel good as a family with the decision and they take extra time to talk with her during her transition. Even when time is short and they are busy, they TAKE the time to stop and listen. We appreciate all that this facility has done for our mother and family - we would be hard pressed to find a more caring community.

I was a resident for a couple weeks while getting physical therapy. Therapy people were polite and professional. Had no issues with them. House keeping cleaned the room 3 times but that was after I was there for over a week already. 9 days after being there laundry showed up with a shirt that belong to resident before me. Dirty bed sheets from previous resident sat bunched up on floor for over a week before someone took it while I was having therapy. 3 nurses were great but they didn't work everyday so the others were hardly ever seen. Most of the nursing aides were great as well. They seemed to run a very light crew most days and there were times I wouldn't see anyone for hours on end, but could here them talking and laughing at nurses station at end of the hall. Food was horrible! Cold hot dog that they referred to as a pork roast was about the norm for food there. Constantly got things I didn't request and didn't get things I requested. Not sure why they had me circle what I wanted each day from a menu when I only got exactly what I requested like 4 times. Some foods were disgusting! Lost over 35lbs in less than 3 weeks because I couldn't eat the food. They told me I was going home the day they walked in the room and asked if I was ready to go, that day. Didn't give me prescriptions for any of my meds and gave me a used walker because they wanted to send me home with a prescription for a walker.

I chose Medbridge at Heartland of Willoughby for my rehab because I heard so many good things about the care they provide. Therapy was my favorite part of the day. I really enjoyed spending time in the therapy gym with my therapist and other patients. I was pushed to work hard in therapy, and my hard work paid off. the nursing staff were also wonderful. The nurses and nursing assistants took excellent care of me and were always kind.

My wife was a patient at this center and received great care. She had trouble walking and was in a lot of pain when she arrived, but the staff there took great care of her. She left stronger than ever, and her pain was gone. She loved the food and made plenty of friends when she was there. Her room was clean and she always received smiles from the staff. I have told many people about the great care she received.

My grandma and grandpa were both at Heartland of Willoughby (which used to be Manor Care Willoughby) and I was very pleased with their care. They received great care from the nurses and nursing assistants, their room was clean, the building did not smell at all and was clean, and everyone was very nice. I would recommend Heartland of Willoughby!

My mother was a patient here and I can't say enough good things. The nursing staff was wonderful, the food looked and smelled delicious, and therapy was excellent. The room was clean, the building smelled good, and staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

My grandma stayed here for over 100 days. She was well-treated and attended therapy daily. Management really cares about the residents here! My grandma loved the food and the social interactions she had during activity time. She never once complained about the food, nor did her belongings ever go missing.

horrible. this place smells, isn't cleaned well, the floors in patient rooms are dirty. it's understaffed. saw bug traps in rooms. the patients are in bed if they're not in therapy, and basic precautions against falling aren't taken. basic hygiene and oral care aren't done. belongings go missing, get broken, get ruined in the laundry. food isn't great - when the orders are even correct. very few of the people working there actually care about the patients.

Short staffed to make money. Staff could not keep up with patient care because of that. Dirty shower rooms. Poor cleaning of patient rooms. Nurses did not change my my wound dressings as much as the doctor ordered. Management were rude with no people skills. Saw them berate employees in front of patients. During my 4 month stay 12 of the best staff members left in disgust because thy are not treated properly. Would not recommend. Gave one star for some of the nurses, aides and therapists
