I do not recommend Paramount Senior Living at Polaris at all. It was just overall a very bad situation, ever since they got new leadership, it's just been awful. They won't help my dad, they're very rude to my mom and me, and that's why we're leaving. The food is ok, but it's not consistent and very rarely delivered warm to the residents, it's usually cold. Everything's delivered at about room temperature. The meals were small portions, and there was a lot of repetitive food and a lot of pasta. They have a lot of activities available. They have an activity room, they have games and stuff that they can play, they have a piano, and a movie screening room with a popcorn machine. The head director and the head of billing in the home office, they call it, none of them are on the same page, and they don't listen. It's a sad situation, and they shouldn't be working with people at all.

Staff could not care less about patients. My loved one requires feeding and gets no assistance. Laundry constantly missing. To get basic Tylenol can take up to 4 days. Staff gets defensive when any issues are brought up. Smells like urine and neglect.

I would like to share my experiences with this location. My dad entered on 8/21/22. I am not an employee. My dad lived with me since 2005. In 2021 his care far exceeded what we were able to provide with home aids and ourselves. Plus, my home was not wheelchair accessible and this meant that my dad was now isolated from the outside world. I began to look for a better situation and Paramount was my first stop as it is the the closest to my home. I have been nothing but impressed with the level of care and communication I receive regarding my dad. I cannot comment on other posts that state that their loved one is in a cramped room because my dad has what is called a "studio" so it is his alone. Whenever I have had an issue or a concern it has been immediately dealt with (and my concerns have been about my dad - not the staff). From Angel at the front desk to Lori his nurse to all the aids that assist him all the way to Angie the director - I have been extremely pleased. My dad now has people he interacts with all day, meals prepared 3 times a day, all the snacks he could want, hygiene care (they have their own "beauty parlor" and physical therapy in their gym. The facility did recently take in many other patients from another facility that was closing but I think that this has made things more lively as there were only a few residents when my dad entered. This is on the more expensive side of the facilities that I looked at but I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for - we do not get any assistance to cover costs. I appreciate that each case is different and you need to evaluate what the right level of care is for your loved one. I am happy with the one on one help that my dad has and all of the staff that attend to them. I am there every week, sometimes multiple times, and I have never witnessed anything that would make me concerned.

Paramount Senior Living at Polaris was beautiful, but it's overpriced. The staff was rude. The owner was rude, and the rooms were very tiny. He told us we needed to put two people in there. There would be no way you could fit two people in those rooms. The dining area was gorgeous. It's a brand new facility, and the amenities were phenomenal. It was the rudeness turned me off. I wouldn't want any of those people taking care of my mom. The owner was blunt, and he was not very welcoming at all. If they're rude to me, how are they going to treat my mother? I wouldn't send anyone there.

We chose Paramount Senior Living at Polaris because they had the medical attention they could give to my dad and they've been very polite. The meals taste good and there was plenty of it. They have a lot of activities, too. They have a courtyard and inside the building, they've got a nice dining area and a nice craft area. Their rooms were large for all the people that were there.

We went to look at Paramount Senior Living at Polaris. It looks like a fantastic place. It is brand new. They had nice people. It looked like they had staff that was adequate for everyone there. They offer salon services. They have a ton of activities that they do during the month. We got to meet the chef that does the food daily. They had bingo and movies. The rooms looked very nice. They had a walk-in shower and a place for them to sit down to shower. They had nice big windows to look outside.

Paramount Senior Living at Polaris was brand new. They were very accommodating. We didn't meet very many people as far as staff goes. I just met the head nurse and she was fine. The facilities were outstanding. They had everything like a theater, a salon, a gym, and stuff like that. Cleanliness was very nice, and upkeep was excellent. It's on the main road, Polaris Parkway, and it's very convenient to Westerville. It's only about 3 miles from where we live. The rooms were adequate.

I'm probably going to stay at Paramount Senior Living at Polaris. I saw both assisted living and independent living there. I chose Paramount Senior Living because it's close to my daughter who will be my power of attorney, and as my condition changes, I will be able to stay there. It's nice. The room is very nicea, the facility is brand new and everything is very nice. The people I met were very nice. They have a beautiful dining room and it's restaurant style. I haven't seen any staff except the lady who showed me around. Nobody is in the home right now because it's brand new. The first patients would be me and whoever comes in in December.
