The apartments offer a variety of floor plans which will meet anyone’s needs. Many of the support staff are quite helpful to the residents, while a few could use more training in the care that they provide. The menus include not only a daily selection but many other options for each meal. It is amazing to me that the dining room staff know the residents names and apartment numbers in a very short time as well as their preferences regarding drinks, desserts, etc. The number and type of activities offered are quite varied and should meet anyone’s needs.

I am a relative of a resident in The Glen (memory care). She has been a resident for two years at Danbury. I chose Danbury because it was close to where I live, and also when I went to go for a tour, the staff was competent and friendly. The rooms were clean and the food was very good. Of course, there are times when adjustments need to be made for the better care of your loved one, and the administration and staff work well with you to rectify the situation. So far, I have been glad that I chose Danbury for my loved one.

In 2022, after checking out a handful of facilities, it was a relief to find the most suitable second home for my Aunt. Not only that she needed the high level of nursing care. My Aunt met wonderful residents who immediately connected with her. If asked if she wanted to change facilities, my Aunt would decline as she is pretty much attached to the residents and staff.

My experience with Danbury in Westerville has been exceptional. As a facility entrusted with the care of my aging parents, Danbury has consistently exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The facility is impeccably clean and well-kept. From the moment you step inside, you can immediately sense the dedication to maintaining a comfortable and hygienic environment for residents. I believe this type of attention to detail speaks volumes about their overall commitment to quality. What truly distinguishes Danbury, however, is its staff. In all my interactions, from administrative personnel to caregivers, I have encountered individuals who are not only highly professional but also genuinely caring. Their compassion and dedication to their work are evident in the way they treat residents and family members alike. My parents are in memory care, and I am grateful for the opportunities they have to engage in the 5 to 6 activities offered daily. These activities are designed especially for memory care residents and include things like sing-alongs, pet therapy, storytelling, and chair exercise. They have even taken 'field trips' which allow residents to get out and experience the beautiful parks nearby. Another standout feature of Danbury is their food services. The meals provided are nutritious and, according to my mother, delicious, thus ensuring residents are well-nourished and satisfied. Most importantly, the nursing and caregiving staff at Danbury approach their work with a profound sense of respect and dignity, which has been incredibly reassuring for my family. Knowing that my parents are safe and in such capable and compassionate hands brings us great peace of mind.

I came to Danbury Westerville with some unique needs and challenges in caring for my parents, both of whom have Alzheimer’s dementia. From the first moment I stepped into the facility, the staff has gone above and beyond to find the best ways to care for my parents. Of course, I expected the staff to care well for my parents, and all of the Danbury staff members have been outstanding. What I didn't expect was the staff's support of me personally during this phase of my parents’ lives. They regularly check with me to ensure my needs are being met and have often developed creative solutions to address my specific needs. The staff members are always friendly and helpful (especially Jennifer at the desk; we always look forward to seeing her smiling face). Danbury Westerville is a wonderful facility, and I could not be happier to have my parents call this community their home.

The rooms are nice size, you don't feel cramped or overwhelmed nice views from windows. Lovely location with Otterbein horse fields next door. The planned activities are well attended especially Bingo and card games. Outings are planned but not as well attended, not sure why. We now have Wifi in every room.

I am always impressed by the fact that all the staff know me and my father by name. It shows me that they are involved and paying attention. From the aids and kitchen staff to the administrators, they all keep details in mind. They know my father's likes and dislikes, his habits, and his needs. They are always good at notifying me when something needs addressed and I have been impressed by the medical staff's attention to care. For my family these are the most important considerations.

I love the fact that my Father has a wonderful covered patio where he can sit outside and read. He has been in 2 different types of floor plans and both were great. Staff interactions have been very helpful and friendly. They offer many activities and fun events for the residents - from crafts, to going out to eat as well as a happy hour or treat cart that makes it's way around the halls. It's been a terrific place for my elderly father to live!

My mom has absolutely returned to a level of independence I didn’t realize she needed. Great staff, great people, so many amazing activities and even more amazing residents. Her room is the perfect size for her and she is incredibly busy. I even had to schedule to visit her.

We moved my dad here from an assisted living facility in West Virginia and found this establishment is well run, professional, and very caring to its residents. The activities for the residents are fun and engaging, our dad has gone for sedimentary lifestyle to being very engaged. The food menu is very diverse and fresh. The staff is caring and mindful of the residents and family needs.

Making the decision that the time was right for our parents to move into assisted living was something that my brother and I took very seriously. We did research, toured facilities, and took all factors into consideration as to what was the best decision for our entire family. Now over a year later, we still feel very confident that Danbury Senior Living in Westerville was the right choice. With one parent in assisted living and one in memory care we’ve had the opportunity to interact with staff throughout the facility at all levels. Staff is responsive to any and all questions and go out of their way to make my brother and I feel as comfortable as the residents. Our Dad loves his room, the food options available, and the opportunity to get involved in activities that keep him busier than he’s been in ten years. We wanted a place that would not only take exceptional care of our parents, but a place that would put our parents needs above all else. We 100% found that at Danbury Senior Living in Westerville.

I will be moving into Danbury Westerville. I like the atmosphere. They have a room dedicated for Veterans. They have a very good price and a discount for Veterans. My son and I are going back in a couple of weeks for a meal. It is very clean. The room itself was very accommodating. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They have garages available. They have laundry service. They have activities and transportation for visits to the doctor. There were residents playing cards, and they had a gymnasium.

Danbury in Westerville was one of the newer facilities that I saw. The staff was so helpful. They gave me a comprehensive tour explaining everything and showing me different rooms. I was able to see the one- and two-bedroom apartments, and they were very nice. They were spacious enough for one person to live in, and I liked it a lot. They had a large amount of activities to choose from. They also had a variety of food to choose from. I think that everybody would be able to find anything they like to eat there. They had a salon and a library. In this facility, you can go from independent living to assisted living to a higher level of care without moving out of your room.

We went here and the staff was wonderful, very friendly, very warm and welcoming. We saw a model room that was decorated really nice. It was a beautiful one-bedroom. It was really nice. There's a variety of rooms. They had big open spaces. They had a patio that overlooks the equestrian farm next door. They also had a bar or pub area, which was really nice. I felt that their outdoor space was lacking. They had recently expanded, and they took away a beautiful patio (which kind of disappointed me). They had a library. They had nice common seating areas, comfortable furniture, and the buses would take them to their activities.

We visited the memory care and assisted living facilities here. It's great. We liked it a lot. It's very nice, welcoming, and friendly. They provide a lot of amenities, and it's the best one that we visited. We only met one staff member and she was nice. We saw a lot of residents congregating in areas and outside of just the dining space, and they seemed friendly with one another.

My mom has been in here for about six weeks now. I like the personnel. They're very caring and very attentive. The work attitude is very good. They have a movie theater, a beauty salon, a library, and a craft room. The dining set-up and the food were very good. My mom is being fed very well.

It was nice and had a formal feel. We made an appointment, but the staff wasn't aware that we were coming. They did accommodate us with the tour and were friendly. The place itself looked clean and tidy. They also had a smaller dining area, but they will be doing renovations to enlarge it. We saw a couple of rooms and that were very nice. Overall, it had a lot to offer.

The rooms were very nice, and I really liked the amenities. They had an art room, movie room, and a pub where you could have your family visit. The people were very friendly. I had lunch, and it was kind of average, but the dining area was very pleasant. I like the idea that they were part of a community.

We found it for my parents. The people are very nice, and friendly. The rooms are very nice. We have one of the smaller ones. Food is good. They have visits once a week like to the zoo or to the Franklin Park Conservatory. They take them to the grocery store once per month. They have dogs that come in to visit with them. They have singers come in to sing for them.

I live a couple blocks from here, and we liked what we saw very much. They answered my questions just fine, and I think I may go there someday. It's quite a new facility -- only a couple years old -- so it's still quite nice. They had some trips, and they had rooms where individuals were playing some games and doing some puzzles. That had been my first choice primarily because I know some people there, and I'm familiar with the street this facility is in.

It is pretty new. It was clean, and the staff is well done. I do not think they are on top as far as things to do, but I think are trying. I think the presentation of walking in the lobby kind of caught our eye, and the presentation of the people who gave us the tour was very nice. I have tried the food a couple of times. At first it was very good, and as time went by, their portions have become smaller, and the food is not that great. They are short on activities, and I would like to see them have more activities for the residents. They have a lovely pool place, and my ex-husband Phil is teaching pool there.

It has a very nice building. The rooms were very nice, roomy, clean, and seemed always repainted. The staff were also very good.
