The memory care unit is a locked hallway nothing like the pictures. It smells like urine. If your loved one has to share a room on the memory care unit some do, the rooms are small. They will share a bathroom with like 4 people. My dad had a roommate and his bathroom shared with the room next door. The nurses are on the other side of the locked door. There are times when no aides or nurses are on the unit with the residents. There are times when they call one of the aides off the floor. There is very little activities for them to do. If you are considering putting your loved one here please reconsider. Especially if you are putting your loved one on the memory care unit. The food is okay. Nothing really to brag about it is like cafeteria food. There were a few staff members who were good but more that didn't want to be bothered with our concerns or our loved one.

We went to Eagle Creek Nursing Center. My mother-in-law needs a locked-down facility because she has dementia and Parkinson's, and they don't have the facilities. If it's assisted living, they can help me. We don't want her to go to a facility where she can get out and she can get lost in a community and that isn't good. It was nice. They were helping senior citizens there. It was in the daytime that I had gone in the facility and they have a buzzer just to notify the nurses of anybody that is going in and out of it. They gave me some information on home health care aides, but the insurance that my mother-in-law has would not cover it. She has to have a locked-down unit. The staff was nice and real courteous. They gave me information and they were willing to help me. They were experienced in their field because I asked them questions, and they were really good. The rooms were neat and clean. When you go in the rooms, every bed was in the same spot and it was neat and clean. You have to supply all their needs, their masks, and everything. You have to write down everything they have and every kind of medicine they take and they have doctors and nurses there, so any time they need it, they can have them. They take them to the store or family members can come and take them out. I've seen nurses attend to people there, and they gave good service.
