I have been a resident here for the past 6 months the staff and administration are great The facility is clean the food is always hot and your needs are taken care of in a timely and efficient manner. The staff make the transition from home to facility as smooth as possible and they are doing the same as I transition back home making sure all services I may need are in place before discharge.

My Dad had mild Dementia. He was adjusting well until my Dads roommate tested positive for Covid. Instead of moving the Covid patient out they moved my Dad to Solitary to another room. He tested Negative. When I confronted them I was told there was confusion about whether my Dad had been vaccinated. The Director of Nursing or a Nurse then ordered him to confinement. He fell from a chair (I believe trying to get up he was left alone) he got a deep gash on his forehead and they said he might of fell because his blood pressure dropped (who knows) I was then told he needed a pacemaker. The hospital doctors never said he was near death or imagine they wouldn’t have put a pacemaker in. Done that, then a week later I am told by Lafayette Pointe Practitioner he needs Hospice. He was taken off his meds and food. They didn’t seem to care about my Dad or myself. I am so sorry I ever took him there. He went into Lafayette 5-5-2022 was dead by 6-3-22. Some of the Nurses were uncaring told me when I was there a day before he died he moaned all night. I ask why he didn’t get the morphine he needed. She said they would put in a request for more, seemed in no hurry, so nonchalantly. My Dad lived a year before I moved him there. I thought it was a notch up but instead it was all downhill. Save your family the hurt and pain of going to Lafayette Pointe!

I am pleased to give Lafayette Pointe an excellent review. My father received outstanding care at this rural facility and I could not have been more impressed with Speech Therapist, Director of Nurses and those Nurses providing direct care. Overall rating : A Prof. Ron Hooker Columbus. Ohio
