My dad has been living in Holiday Alexis Gardens. We're going to leave him where he's at right now. I love that place. It's just a really nice place. They serve three meals a day, and they have snacks out all the time for the residents. We are moving my dad down the hall because he is at the end of the hall, which is a long walk for him. But we are moving him closer to the elevator and the dining room. They have an exercise room and a library. They have activities for the older people. I can't say enough good things about them. The people there are just awesome. They bent over backward to help my dad. It's very beautiful inside, too. They've just remodeled everything. My dad's apartment is on the second floor. He has a nice-sized balcony. He has three great big windows in his living room. It's two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a little kitchenette. They do not have stoves in there. Of course, they don't want people cooking because some of the residents are forgetful. My dad has a microwave, a kitchen sink, and a cabinet. They have lots of closet space in their place. He also has a refrigerator, which is all included. It's beautiful. You wouldn't know it's an independent living because it's big.

The food is very good, with lots of variety. Staff are amazing, very caring, understanding and treat our family like they are their own. The other residents are friendly, welcoming and helpful.

We toured Holiday Alexis Gardens. They showed us the menus, and I talked to a couple of residents that were there as well, and they said the food was good and it's not the same menu every day. They change it up. The facility was very clean. It's on the newer end. It's well-kept. They have a lot of options. They have a lot of activities for the people living there. They have a gym. They have a library. They have a computer room. If you still want a car, they have parking available. The staff was excellent, very accommodating, and answered questions we had. They were good.

The people at Holiday Alexis Gardens were very friendly. We're invited to the Valentine's party they had. We liked their two-bedroom apartment. It was a little small, but I think we could get by in it. We've seen bigger ones. We had lunch there and I had grilled tenderloin. My wife had a salad.

Holiday Alexis Gardens is fantastic. Amy took me around and she couldn't have been more kind. She explained everything about what they do and what they have. She gave me a copy of their menu. They have someone on staff that if my sister needed help, they would be there. They have a washer and dryer in the room. They just have everything you could need. The place was very clean. There's nothing bad for me to say about it. Their menu was delicious. I know someone whose aunt was there, and they didn't have a complaint about the food. And if you didn't like what they were having, you could order something else. The rooms on the second and third floors all have a balcony. They have a beautiful walkway that goes around the trees. The staff who gave the tour was wonderful.

I will be moving into Holiday Alexis Gardens. The staff was very helpful and interested, and I think they did a good job of explaining everything and making me aware of what's available and what a day could be like there, so I thought that was well done. I didn't sense they were in a hurry. I did see activities, but it's not what I was concentrating on. The apartment was very clean. It's a very bright place. I like the landscaping around the building. It's right in the woods and they had balconies, so you can sit outside or go outside. There's plenty of room in the apartment. There was gym equipment available and equipment available for entertainment. There was a library, which seemed very adequate. They have rides to appointments. The staff was nothing less than helpful and enthusiastic, too. I didn't care for the carpeting. I'd prefer a tiled floor of some type, but that's OK. They could have added one more elevator. It seemed like the one elevator would get pretty busy. The food looked good.

I like Holiday Alexis Gardens. It's nice and clean. A friend of mine lives there and the staff is friendly. They've got a large open dining room, an exercise room, a library, and a game room with multiple large screen TVs around. The staff look happy in their jobs. The food is better than most of the facilities. They've got entertainment coming in every Saturday and they will have a Mardi Gras Tuesday on the 21st of February. They'll have a band come in for that. Compared to other places that I've seen, I would highly recommend Holiday Alexis Gardens.

Holiday Alexis Gardens was very pleasant. My only downside is it's a little too far from my church and my daughter's house. It's a much, much smaller space than we're used to, although we want to get rid of having to go up and down stairs and a lot of things. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. I enjoyed talking to her. The rooms seemed very clean and that's one of the nicest things, too. I didn't talk to any of the residents other than hello and goodbye passing in the hallway, and they seemed friendly enough. The dining area was beautiful. I don't know what the food tastes like, but I saw the sample menu, which looked good and it smelled delicious, too. I saw different things that they offer for activities and it seemed very inviting. The facility was clean and well-organized.

Alexis Gardens was really nice. The coordinator there was nice. We did not use them because it was a little farther away. They offered meals, but I did not sample them.

Alexis Gardens was very nice and clean. The staff was super. They seemed to have lots of activities available if you wanted them. It might not have worked for my brother because he is kind of a recluse, and we're kind of looking for a nursing home for him. I like the place. They have video games, a pool table, cards, puzzles, books, movies, a library, bingo, and all that kind of stuff. The staff was great and was very friendly. The rooms were good-sized, but the studios were super small. The dining area was nice and open. It was super quiet when we were there.

The first community we visited was Alexis Gardens. It had a nice atmosphere, and the staff was friendly. It just seemed like the residents were engaged and having a good time. There was a bingo game in one of the rooms, and they were working on puzzles, too. I liked the rooms. They were nice. I saw a studio and a one-bedroom, but they are unfurnished. You have to bring your own furniture. The staff were very nice. The facility was very nice, too.

We're very impressed with Alexis Gardens. They had just about everything. It was ideal. I was very smitten with that. It was clean and well managed. The tour was so informational, but my husband feels that it may be just a bit out of our range for the future. It was an A1. It offered everything, but it's out of our hope of being able to afford it. Otherwise, it would have been my pick because it was going to be on the ground floor and easy to get in and out of. I like that the rooms didn't have a kitchen stove. They had everything. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, and the closet space was superb. You'd have to bring a few more things just to fill them up, and the place was spic and span. It would be what we call a Cadillac. It was above a 5. They were just superb. I found nothing wrong. The staff was A1. No matter what we see even in the future, Alexis Gardens would be the one we will be dreaming about and wishing we could go. They were extra nice.

I had an in-person tour of Alexis Gardens. I liked the gentleman, Jim, who gave me the tour. He was very informed and very nice. We saw two apartments, although we don't think that's going to be a good fit for our mom. But the way I was treated, the way I was received, it was awesome. It just wasn't a fit for us because my mom is still functional, and she still likes to cook. Them having a kitchenette, that was automatically a strike, and then the room was small. The staff was very personable, very respectful, and very polite. They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have entertainment that comes in. She could sign up to go to Walmart or Kroger's to shop and go to the bank. There was a walking trail in the back. The apartments that we saw had a balcony, and it was nice. They have different events going on in the game room, so there was something for everybody to do.

My dad has moved into Alexis Gardens two weeks ago. It's excellent. We're very, very happy with the service. They're extremely clean. I like them. The chef is very good and he's very personable. The food is very fresh and very good. There are a lot of activities. The staff members were very polite. They engage with the residents. They're nice. I went to 8 different facilities and that's the one I picked out for my dad.

The tour we had at Alexis Gardens in Toledo was fine. It's independent living, and we liked it because of the longevity of the employees who work there. There's nothing special with the apartments, but it works. It opens up to a really beautiful garden, which is what makes it extra special. The staff was good too. The place is old, and when things get old, they aren't as clean anymore, and they're harder to clean. Everything in that place is just old and needs updating, like they need a new floor in the dining room. It's fine though, it's just an older facility that just needs some updating. The location is fine. It's not great since it's right on the highway. It's a busy road, but my dad is used to that, and it's very, very, very close to where he lives now. It's only 1.7 miles away so as far as location for him, and familiarity of the area, that's what was good.

Alexis Gardens was open, I thought everybody was friendly. It was nice and decent, I had no problem there, I think. I toured the place based on their cost. When I got out there, I found out that it's $2000 a month for a studio, so I didn't tour the room. They interviewed me first to see what I wanted. They gave me prices and told me the price for the studio but I didn't see the studio. It was out of my price range and I left. It's in a decent neighborhood, it's a good part of town. The building looked good. The staff members were friendly, informative, and patient.

Superficially, Alexis Gardens is a very well-maintained facility with lots of options, and it's super clean. Everything's been great. Everyone I've talked to and who has been following up with me has clearly been interested in helping me as much as possible. I didn't see anything negative that I could point out. Someone greeted me at the door, and the manager took over the tour. He was very pleasant. I thought that the apartments were sufficient, well maintained, and clean. I saw some activities, and I feel like they were doing a very good job at getting appropriate activities up and running very quickly after the pandemic. I just went through the building, not around the building. I saw a menu, and there were many people there enjoying the food. It looked to me like they had a good selection of choices.

When time came to make the difficult decision to move mom from home, Alexis Gardens came highly recommended by a professional in this area of service industry. We look at other locations and unanimously chose the Gardens. The rooms are well appointed, large bathroom and bedroom. The staff are amazing! This was something that stood out; so many had worked here since it was built. I trust them. That says a lot. While mom doesn't utilize the van service for outings, she does enjoy the music and other entertainment that is offered. The only constructive feedback would be to offer more food options that are not so heavily leaning on bread and pastas.

We actually did a live tour of Alexis Gardens. It was not virtual, and we actually went to the property. Alexis Gardens had some really nice units and it was very spacious and nice. Everybody there seemed happy and active. It was really good; we liked it. It was a great, friendly, and happy place. The staff members we met were very upbeat.

I liked Alexis Gardens, but we think mom would need additional care sooner. I met one person, and she was very nice and very informative. The rooms were a bit smaller, but they had a patio or a balcony, which was nice. It was a newer building and seemed brighter and lighter than the other places.

My mom recently moved here and is 94. I cannot begin to say how absolutely wonderful each and every staff person is at this retirement home. They have moved me to tears sometimes because I'm so blown away by their compassion and kindness. My mom is having quite a difficult time because of dementia issues and everyone here has bent over backwards to make sure she is happy and cater to her every wish. The food is fabulous and the whole place is gorgeous and spotless. It is definitely a premier facility and I have never met such wonderfully caring, accommodating staff members who go out of their way to help their residents. They have a huge staff and every single person we've met without fail has been exceptional and fabulous. My mom was at another facility before this one that was the absolute pits with absolutely horrible staffing, food and environment; and I cannot believe the HUGE difference in facilities. If you want the best for your loved one I would say you need to look no further than Alexis Gardens!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Alexis Gardens for being so wonderful and for all you do for your residents and their families!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first thing that stood out to us about Alexis Gardens was the girl that showed the place, she was smart. The only bad thing about the community was that they didn't have very many parking spots. But the place itself seemed pretty nice. The rooms were adequate, not small by any means, and they're pretty nice. The amenities they offer are all nice; they have all the usual stuff, but nothing outstanding. They did not have a pool that I saw, but they have a library that serves as an entertainment room. They also have a very large eating area, which was just like a restaurant. The staff members seemed pretty nice. The building also seemed pretty nice. They have a second floor, but there's an elevator to get to the second floor.

I visited Alexis Garden. They only have one elevator, and if your room is down at the end of the hall, it's too far too walk. They don't have enough elevators for the size of the place, but other than that, everything is fine. The food is good. They do housekeeping, have laundrymats, and take you to doctors' appointments.

I was able to tour Alexis Gardens. It was pleasant. The outside was nice. The view and the amenities were nice. I also thought their food was OK. I didn't think it was special, but it was OK. Actually, they had a few residents walking around in the hallways with their dogs, and I remember thinking, "Can I live with this community?" and I thought that it's going to be hard.

I've been living at Alexis Gardens for five months now. It's very nice. Everybody is very nice and very pleasant. You have your own heating and cooling in each room and a little refrigerator. Their rooms come unfurnished but nice carpeting. There's a wonderful view from the window, and the ones on the first floor have a back porch. The rooms are very nice, clean, and comfortable. The food is excellent. We have a chef prepare meals three times a day and get served restaurant-style in the dining room. We have a choice of three or four meal items, and you can have it sent to your room if you want. They have a lot of fun activities and go out to play since they have their own bus. There are a lot of activities here. They allow pets, too.

Alexis Gardens was the best of the ones that we visited. The price and the quality of the food and the variety really stood out. They had a library area with a variety of books, CDs, and music. They had quite a few activities going on twice a week but generally they had something going on every day. They had a transportation and offered three meals a day.

I liked Alexis Gardens very much. It seemed that it was a nice happy place. The food was good. They had a puzzle room, a library, an exercise room, and a game room with a pool table and a shuffle board. They have giant playing cards.

Alexis Gardens provides meals, cleaning services, and cables, all included. It's a three-story building that's nice and clean and has very friendly and helpful people who work there. They have bingo, cards, movie nights, and a lot more, but those are the only things that I saw.

Alexis Gardens is beautiful, well-structured, and offers so much help. They help to get residents to their medical appointments, and I saw their menu. The rooms were of a very nice size, beautiful, and so comfortable. They have a music room and an exercise room. It was a great place.

Alexis Gardens was open, warm, and inviting. The employees were kind, caring, and they enjoyed their job and the people. It was a very comfortable living arrangement. They gave us a tour and answered all of our questions. They helped us out with any of our needs. The dining areas was nice, open, and inviting. They had round tables, the chairs had arms, and they also had a coffee or fruit bar on the side so the residents at any time could get a fruit, snack, or coffee. We liked the fact that they had a pool table up there. They had like a library and sitting room -- a private area where you could go and where the grand kids could come in. There was a calendar of activities they could partake in. The night we were there, there was a gentleman who was singing songs and playing the guitar. So, there was musical entertainment, somebody was making jewelry, and arts & crafts. They had a little bit of everything for everybody. You could partake in the hair salon or nail salon; you could set up an appointment for that. I thought you could even bring in your own hairstylist. It was homey. Everyone was friendly and nice. People knew each other by name -- the workers and the residents. It was in a nice area. You could easily exit to the expressway.

I like everything about Alexis Gardens. The staff was very nice, and I’m trying to get in there. I definitely would want a 2-bedroom, but I don’t know if I could afford it because I want to get the Veterans benefit. The rooms have their own bathroom and kitchenette. The dining area was on the floor, and was set up fine. It was more like a dining room; there were tables all around. The food was very good, and there were many selections of food. The grounds were beautiful, and I really like it. I hope to be able to go there, but I don’t know how long it’s going to take. It is near a hospital, and they had all kinds of games and entertainment. I would recommend this facility.

Alexis Gardens is very nice. It has rooms that were very nice, but they didn't have a stove. My mom still likes to cook. You walk in, and the dining room is right by the front door. There didn't seem to be as many activities as the other facility. They have a helpful staff. It was a nice staff although they didn't seem to have as many people interacting with the residents. To improve the place, they could put a stove in the apartment. That would help.
