My mother is at The Pinnacle (Summit Villa). It is an older facility, and you can tell that from the outside, but it is homey. Everybody seems friendly and helpful. The food is average. They have bingo, celebrations for Father's Day, and ice cream socials.

Seriously understaffed. At times it would take over a half hour to 45 minutes for staff to answer call light. Left unattended in bathroom resulting in fall and head injury. My friend was given a food tray when he was supposed to be tube fed. At times he seemed kind of out of it, as if he were over medicated. I would not recommend this place.

My dad passed away in Summit Villa Care Center, but he was there because he came out of the hospital. They were understaffed, and the care could be a lot better. It was not institutional; it could be better too. They didn't have a lot of space for relaxation, and they sat the people around the nursing station, but I guess they were watching them. They had little activity, and to me, it could be a lot better. He enjoyed the food; he ate all of his food. I never tasted it, but he ate everything they brought him, and that was a plus. The room could be more spacious and more personal or homey. It was just the bed, the chair, and the TV on the wall; very blah.

My friend who was dying at that time stayed at Summit Villa Care Center. I wasn't impressed and I didn't think the cleanliness was good enough. The rooms were small and crowded.
