My mom moved into Concord Ridge Health & Rehabilitation. I know right now they're going through a bunch of construction, so it's kind of rough right now, but the room my mom is in is nice and clean. The maintenance of the facility is nice and wide open. The staff has been very nice, and courteous, and kept me informed on all the different things that are going around in the facility and with my mom.

The staff is unprofessional, the staff is not on top of things, the clients ring their buzzers and no one responds, it took 15 minutes until someone came in the room. It’s not modern at all. The beds are uncomfortable and the food is garbage. I will be sending an email to the AMA and whoever else. The rooms are clean and no trash cans in rooms.

This is a very nice place it’s clean doesn’t smell like some nursing homes. The only thing I have to complain about is the STN’A’S Every time you need an STNA you can find them sitting around on their cell phones and they act like they don’t wanna do any work some of the not all the other night I asked my nurse if I could go to bed and the STNA said to the nurse that I would have to wait until the dining room was cleaned up well I looked and the dining room was cleaned up.and to my surprise two of the STNA grabbed their coats and went out to smoke now I think that was just rude so I add to wait until they came back the nurses can use a stern talking to some of them have TRUCK DRIVERS MOUTH like you wouldn’t believe when I was at Mayfield I never heard one nurse with a potty mouth like I do here. And the STNA’S some of them not all are always on their cell phones especially the second shift sorry this is so long but this needs to be handled ASAP I like this place very much I would give them a thumbs up

My mom was taken care of here and I absolutely hated how the staff treated her. The nurse would ignore her requests and she didn’t get the help she needed. My mother told me about how one of the nursing assistants (her name was Taylor for anyone who might have had the same experience) was completely awful, my mother had an accident and sat in it for hours before this lazy girl finally got around to changing her. That’s completely despicable, and how could someone treat an elderly patient like that? Tried explaining to them that they need to do better, but they just brushed me off. The food is ok, facility seems pretty clean, but the staff is absolutely horrendous and I will be removing my mother from there as soon as possible.

My sister-in-law was in this facility at the end of her life and overall we were very pleased with her care. So pleased that 2 years later we volunteer to entertain the patent every other month or so. I am actually at the facility now and it is spotless, no bad odor and staff are up and about. We hope we won't need its services but if we ever did, we would use Altercar of Mentor again Why four stars? We'll when a loved one is sick, staff can ALWAYS be faster and meals can ALWAYS be tastier.

My dad is here.... Food is okay but the staff where my dad is are bad. Find his clothes and dirty paper briefs on the floor of his bathroom when I go there.... He has had same shirt on for four days. They do not have patience with him... He has had previous brain surgery and now had three brain bleeds. If I am there for five hours not one person checks on him at all. I am highly saddened by the lack of care and concern for patients. The staff sits at the desk on their phones. I am speaking for the area my dad is in as I cannot speak for the other area in this place

At first I thought the lack of care for the patients was an issure of being understaffed but after observing the staff in the building many times, I realized that it is the lack of quality leadership. The staff needs to have policies in many areas of care and made accountable. Many needs for many residents are not being met on a daily basis.
