My mother who is in the later stages of Alzheimers has been being cared for by Lanfair's Speret Hall for the past 6 years. The nurses and aides at Lanfair are so caring and really love these dementia patients. I would not want my mother to be anywhere else.

I liked the facility and my Grandmother did for the most part. She didn't like the noise and the crowded rooms and not being able to nap during the day or rest and never being along. She said the food was horrible and she didn't like some of the staff, her wedding band was stolen and turned up at a local pawn shop, luckily we had a photo it and the police were able to find it quickly as it was sort of unique. She didn't like that they forced the residents to bed right after supper and woke them at the crack of dawn for no reason other than it suited the nurses aides. Lots of bickering between the shifts the first and second shifts would say the night shift didn't do anything and things of that nature. It was okay for short term care, but she was sure glad to get home.
