My brother now stays in Four Winds Nursing Facility. It's very nice. He moved from a private room to a shared room, and the shared room is a bit cramped. The facility is clean. There's ample parking. It's in a remote, quiet section of the country. The staff are very attentive, very courteous and professional. I didn't experience the food myself, but my brother has not had any complaints, so I think he finds the food very satisfying. It's a nursing home and a rehabilitation center, so they have a nice physical therapy area and a dining area.

This facility let my sweet 99 year old sister lay in piss. My nephew was denied access to his mother on Sunday and on Tuesday was told to call in the family. When family arrived she was exposed her gown untied and not covering her. This beautiful, proper Christian woman laying in piss, her mother dry and crusted from no water or mouth care. It took 45 minutes for anyone to come in to change her. My nephew wrote a check that Sunday fir uncovered expenses for March. My sister died on 2/16/22 and this uncaring facility had the nerve to cash the check on 2/18/22 before he could think to cancel it. They also refused to refund him. NO ONE SHOULD TRUST THEIR LOVED ONES TO THIS PLACE.

My family member has been at Four Winds for 3 years and it has been nothing but a fight to keep her cared for. We have to check on her constantly to be sure she is getting what she needs. I am in no way impressed with the staff or anyone over this place that we have complained to. And there's so much more they do that I can't list. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone. The rooms are not clean. The place smells terrible. Not all the staff has the compassion required for this type of work. We are moving our loved one. Not Recommended,

My parents were patient's of this facility. My Mom was diagnosed with Cancer and needed constant care and my Father had dementia. The facility worked very hard in getting them a room together and succeeded. Then my Mom passed away and they were able to transfer my Dad to the Apple Ridge Ward (Memory Care). The nurses at both units were very friendly and helpful. And after Mom passed away, they were very attentive to my Dad's needs. My Dad passed away recently and the staff helped me so much. The staff are the greatest and communication was fantastic. Love this facility. I thank them for all their help in this trying time in my life.

Be prepared as there are so many smokers at the front entrance. How can this be?! Can you imagine going to a reputable hospital or professional building and having to walk though that to enter? In less than a week my mother's iPhone has been stolen. I even question if she receives the ordered pain medication...or something else. Very worried about her at Four Winds. Wish we had taken more time to choose where she rehabs after surgery.

I have visited this facility many times over the past two years that my father in law has been there I worked in the health care field for over 25 years and I can say this is the worst excuse for a nursing facility that I have ever came in contact with. The facility is dirty the aides sit playing with their phones while they are on the clock. The food is handled and served without the proper sanitary measures such as hair nets. My father in law's clothing is always good stained Rumpled and unkempt. I would not recommend this facility

My mother stays in the alzhiemers unit and they take excellent care of her. The nurses and aids are very kind and welcoming. The facility is always clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Four Winds to anyone seeking a facility for their loved one.

The staff located at Four Winds is very friendly and helpful. I've never seen them treat my grandmother, or anyone else for that matter, poorly. The food is wonderful! I ate lunch with my grandmother once and I expected chewy type hospital food but it was quite good. I did however notice that the maintenance men that worked there seemed lazy. She had a light bulb out in her bathroom for almost 3 days before they came to fix it. Now in my opinion, that seemed like a safety hazard. They claimed they were out of bulbs and had to order more. Another thing I didn't like was the grass. They hardly ever kept it mowed. Considering it's suppose to be family friendly, I would think they should keep the outside looking good. All in all they are a good experience, but I believe they need to hire new maintenance men.

My great grandmother was placed in this facility when she developed severe Alzheimer's Disease. She spent about five years before she passed away. While she was there she was taken care of by several fine nurses that made sure she was always clean and fixed her hair nicely every week. They also included her in games and other pastimes that the other residents participated in. Whenever I would visit her she seemed content. The staff was always polite and nice to us and I know other people have been pleased with the facility as well. They often had pets that belong to the facility and they would often bring the pets in to cheer up the residents. The facility itself was always clean and neat, there were never any abnormalities while my grandmother was there. They permitted my grandparents to take her home with them from time to time when she was first admitted, that way she could still be with family and comforted. I would recommend the Four Winds Nursing Facility to anyone who may have a loved one in need of care that the family may not be able to provide.

The team at the skilled nursing faculity provided excellent care to my family member. The staff was very friendly and cared about the patients, and made sure they felt at home and was given excellent care. The therapy department provided outstanding rehabilitation to get their patients back to their daily routines.
