I used to live at Wellington Village Senior Apartments. They had a very good manager but the supervisor was intimidating. It is strictly independent. No food provider or anything. Nevertheless, they are very friendly people. When I first moved in there, within a week, people started reporting bedbugs. And they've had problems of bedbugs since from 2020 to 2024. The pest control company they use is not very effective. With regard to amenities, they had a library and an outdoor place to sit, but they didn't have a gym. There's a YMCA about a mile away, so some people can get access to that. It's a fairly old place. It probably was built in the late 70s or early 80s. While I was there, certain equipment like the elevator broke and we had to wait a week to get that repaired. Many of those things don't get done quickly. But I think those things broke just because they were old. For activities, there were some people doing crafts and sometimes they would have group meals, but these were residents initiated. Value for money was good though.
