My mom has moved into Brookdale Pinnacle. She has been there for 10 days now. Her overall experience has been extremely good, and she has had a surprisingly good attitude about it. At first, she was a little concerned, but once she saw the place, she was very excited about it. They've been very, very accommodating, very nice, and very attentive to her. So far, it's been a great experience. My mom's room nice. It has been updated. It's like an efficiency, it's got a room with a counter, a sink and a microwave, and a big bathroom. She likes it very much. The place is very well kept, very clean, and very orderly. They repair things quickly, so I'd say maintenance is good. The dining area is nice. I haven't tasted it, but she says the food is good. She goes to physical therapy and exercises. They have puzzles, and they do what she likes to do. They have a book club, movie night, Bible studies, chapel services, and little classes on different things. She says there's a lot to keep her busy.

I toured Brookdale Pinnacle. It was a wonderful tour. I was able to speak with some residents that were there, and it reminded me of a hotel. It had very high-end furnishings and felt very homey. I like the apartments. They looked like an apartment versus just a room. They have lots of amenities. They have courtyards, a sitting area that has a piano, an exercise area, and a private dining room that you could reserve if the family wanted to get together. The dining room is menu-driven. So, it reminded you of a restaurant. The staff answered all my questions. They were very caring. They brought up and asked questions that my sister and I didn't consider, and so it allowed us to have the opportunity to get a better idea of what my mom needed, as well as what they could offer.

Brookdale Pinnacle seemed pretty high class. They took the residents' considerations, like if the residents wanted to change the carpet, they'd change it. Everything is really clean, well kept, and updated. The person who assisted me with the tour was kind, great, funny, and gave us all the information that we needed.

This facility was very pleasant, bright, and fairly new. I liked the fact that it was one floor, and it did seem too big. The staff who assisted me was very friendly and very helpful. I think one of the things I noticed at every place I visited, as they passed various residents, they could greet them by name or joke with them or knew something personal about them. I was impressed that there was seemingly a relationship and friendly atmosphere, and I found that at Pinnacle also. They have a beauty salon there, and my mother would like that. The person that was touring us sent me a coupon in the mail so that my mother could go and have her hair done for free. We saw people in the common areas. We did get to go into a couple of rooms that belonged to the residents, and they seemed to be very pleasant, but the price was a little higher than some of the other places I looked at. My concern again was the fact that if you needed more than assisted living, you had to leave the facility, and if your money ran out, you had to find a new place to live.

The first thing that impresses me at Emeritus at Pinnacle where my mom is at the moment is it’s nice, bright, and open. The residents seemed very content and happy. The staff that we talked to are very friendly and answered all our questions completely. They had a number of different room setups that we could choose from and for what we were looking for, we found exactly what we needed. They were able to accommodate us rather quickly. Whenever I have questions or things have come up, they have been very good about answering questions and getting back to me. I've been very pleased with them and my mom is very content; that is the most important thing.

My grandparents are in Emeritus for six months now. It is a very nice facility. It is clean and the people are responsive. They have a reasonable accommodation and my grandparents are comfortable. The food is okay. They have activities like bingo and movie nights. They have shuttle service that takes them over to stores. However, they can do a better job cleaning the rooms thoroughly. They do vacuum the rug and the main area. However, they don’t go underneath the chairs, couches and table. The rooms can be a little cleaner.

This facility is just the best. The care providers are both kind and helpful. I had to move my folks from Myrtle Beach as they were not thriving. Mom was raised in OH and after seeing the facility I signed her up. Neither of my folks were agreeable to leave their home for any reason, so I along with the staff at Pinnacle started the process. They were so very helpful to me during this terrible time with my folks. They called and assisted me in getting a placement and were even there to greet us as we rolled under the carport at 6:00am after a long 12 hr drive. My folks were more than confused and everyone, I mean everyone in the facility were clear with me about what needed to be done and offering suggestions on what my folks needed and how to arrange it. I really don't know how to express how wonderful everyone is and has been. I live out of state and if something comes up the nurses will call and assure me its not a crisis, and calmly spell out what is needed. I can't tell you how much I appreciate their attention and calmness. The food is very good at the Pinnacle and there is always something going on in the great room. Lots of music happens, bingo, and even the occasional dog or two show up! The seniors love petting them. I would give the Emeritus at Pinnacle an A rating. It is a safe, secure, warm environment for any senior.

Emeritus at Pinnacle was very nice but it was all self-pay so I couldn't do it. We were just given the impression that it would accept Medicaid. Also they didn't have a nursing home facility. We decided it wasn't worth the visit because it would simply get my hopes up because I couldn't afford it anyway, so why bother. I think it was strictly independent and assisted living. Anyway, the facility was beautiful and gorgeous. I had lunch there and it was excellent. Regarding staff, the woman I dealt with was very kind and very nice. Nevertheless, I absolutely would recommend this place to others.

My Mother has been a resident at Emeritus at Pinnacle for two years and we have been so very happy with the fasility and the wonderful staff. I am a resident of South Carolina and my Mother has been a resident of Ohio for all her life so coming to me when she needed assistance with her everyday life was not what she wanted to do. Finding this fasility was a God send for me becasue it has given me piece of mind. I am able to make bi-monthly trips to visit and even stay with her in her room. Mother is 98 years young and has become an ACTIVE resident at Emeritus, exercise, painting, bingo, entertainment, bible study, and so many more activities. I thank the staff so much for making Mom a very happy woman. I talk with her every evening and hope I am lucky enough to have this kind of life style in my golden years.

I have visited emeritus at pinnacle many times and have always been impressed with the friendly and caring staff. I would not hesitate to recommend this building for someone looking for assisted living. It is also very clean, food looks great and they always have a fun and engaging activity going on.

The facility was brand new and top of the line from my perspective. It was highly secure and a very clean place to stay. The staff was new and seemed a bit stressed due to the lack of enough support. The activities directors were lovely and really seemed to enjoy the residents. There were many daily activities planned that the staff, the residents, and the residents' family could engage in. The residents that I interacted with seemed comfortable and generally happy to be there. They not only enjoyed the company of the other residents, but they liked the food and had great things to say about the staff. As someone who does not have a great deal of experience with price comparison of assisted living facilities I can't speak too much to this. They all seem expensive to me! However, I understand that there is alot included and there is around the clock staff. Overall, I thought it seems like a nice place to live.
