My husband moved to Sage Park Memory Care & Transitional Assisted Living. They do a lot of different things including the family. One of the evenings they had a family night where the family could come in and eat dinner and they had everything fixed and stuff in the dining area for the families and residents that were there. That was a good time to meet other people who have patients in the memory care facility and talk to them. Also, it's a good time to get your patient there to acclimate a little bit better with people because there are a number of different people that are there. The staff usually is all there also. So I mean, including the people that run the place and then all the aides and things like that are there and they introduce you to all the people that are running things and what their jobs are, and they all talk. So there's a lot of information they're willing to provide. If you have any questions or concerns or anything, just let them know. Every room has a picture of the person that's there and something that the family has put together for them. When you go in the rooms, all the rooms have that picture and something the families put together for the patient. I have only been there once to eat. He seems to be happy with the meals that are there. They get their three meals plus snacks and stuff. So he seems to be happy with that. The facility is clean and well-put together. They don't have any smells and things like that. They take care of everything. It's bundled pricing, including a number of things, so I'm happy with that.

My tour at Sage Park Memory Care & Transitional Assisted Living was excellent. Laurie was very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. I was impressed with what they do and what they believe in. They have a holistic doctor, and I was impressed with that because we don't get into too many drugs here, but aspirins or something maybe. I was impressed with the cleanliness, too. I watched a person being a little contrary and I was also impressed with how they handled him. The aides went to him and very calmly and kindly took care of the situation. I was impressed with that, and some of the things that they do, like a room where they quiet them down. To me, it was specialized for memory care people. The place was very clean. I like the fact that you don't have to take your own bed and stuff in. The other places didn't supply the room furnishings at all, but this one did. The restrooms were very clean.

I did a tour of Sage Park Memory Care & Transitional Assisted Living, and I loved it. It's very modern, and well laid out. The staff was very pleasant. It looked like they had a lot of services. Their dining nutrition plan seemed to be very forward thinking and healthy. The staff who gave me the tour was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and informative. The rooms looked brand new, very clean, and fresh. The dining areas were spacious, pleasant, and welcoming. They have a lot of sensory integration. A lot of things focus for people who have memory problems. They have many activities scheduled every single day.

I visited Sage Park Memory Care & Transitional Assisted Living. I was only there an hour or so, but I'd have to say that it was very clean. It didn't have any kind of odor. They seemed to have a lot of activities on their activity list. It was a very nice facility. They have one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms, and studios. They have a theater, a beauty salon, and a little area where they have some parties. They have a couple places for people that are in wheelchairs to get baths. It had big showers where you wheel them into. I didn't really talk to any staff, except the woman that was showing me around.

My husband is in Sage Park Assisted Living & Memory Care. Everything is great there. The staff members were pretty good. They do the best they can. I just don't think they pay attention that much. They walk with my husband sometimes, and that's about it. They have activities. My husband has one bed. His room is very large with a bathroom, and it's always clean. The only complaint that I have is the laundry that they do. My husband lost two pairs of shoes and socks. I take clothes over there, and it just disappears.

Sage Park Assisted Living & Memory Care was a great facility. The rooms were beautiful. The entryway was great. They had a wonderful garden. I've just had a lot of trouble getting information from them. I'm getting contradictory information. I had a time set to tour, but they didn't seem to be ready. I saw one activity, and it was OK. I didn't see a great level of interaction with the residents. The staff really seem to care, but they were all pretty young; I don't know how well they related to the seniors.

If everything goes well, we'll probably move my father into Sage Park Alzheimer's Special Care Center soon. We chose it because I needed memory care and that's all they do, so that was a big attraction to us. We weren't able to go inside. We met with the admissions lady, and we just got to walk around the outside of it. It's one story, and they had a nice outdoor walking area that was secured. The lady was pretty helpful. They talked about activities. They don't do assisted living, and they don't do nursing home, it's all memory care.

I can not say enough positive statements about this facility. Sage Park was a blessing and God send for us. My Father-n-Law is a character and the charm, caring, compassion and kindness of Sage Park turned him into the sweetest and most compliant person I know. Believe me he was never like that before. They went above and beyond to get him there and have tried every avenue to keep him there, but to our regret we have to move him. I recommend Sage Park to everyone looking for a special care unit. My husband and I will miss them terribly. They have become very special to us and we Thank them from the bottom of our hearts.

I've posted on other sites, so this is the "shorter version"... Mom needed way more care than we were able to give, and we did NOT have pleasant experiences at a couple other facilities. But SP was terrific from day one. Clean and comfy rooms, tasty and varied meals, and a honestly caring staff from the director right down through the ranks, everybody there seemed to know and take personal interest in Mom. She could "get a bit testy" at times, but they calmly and tenderly showed her respect, and managed to cheer her up. In her final days, they cared for her with a tenderness that defies explanation. They were simply THERE for her every moment when we simply couldn't be. They provided activities, physical therapy, amazing medical care, and above all, they loved her as though she were part of THEIR families. I can't thank them enough for making the most difficult part of Mom's life as easy as it could possibly be. If you need to trust someone with YOUR loved one, this is the place to do it!

Sage Park Alzheimer's Special Care Center is very impressive. However, I'm not sure my mom is ready for memory care. I am super impressed with it. If my mom gets to the point where there is more of a memory care need, then I would definitely consider this place. It is great for memory care. They definitely specialize in that. The staff memnber who assisted me was wonderful. She's one of the reasons why I would totally consider them. They have a shared room, which is minimal. They have private rooms, but even with a private room it is a shared bathroom. The rooms are small. They keep the residents busy there. They go from one activity to another.

Sage Park Alzheimer's Special Care Center was really nice. I liked it a lot. It's big, open, and dedicated to memory care. It's just too far away for us. The dining area seemed nice.

My mom is now living in Sage Park. It's very warm and comfortable, and feels more like you're in a home setting than in a medical setting. The rooms are very spacious, even the shared rooms. The staff has worked with us and they work very well with my mother. The food is good and my mom does not complain. There are two dining rooms based on the needs of the residents. They have Bingo, trivia, Happy Hours, snack time, and outings.
